Three of us were traveling on business arrived in Orlando at midnight on 2/25/2020 after a flight delay of over5 hours only to find the property we had rented had not been cleaned. We scrambled to find a place that had 3 rooms for the night -finally arriving at the Residence Inn at almost 2AM on 2/26. Kelly met us with a smile, was incredibly accommodating and empathetic. She did a wonderful job meeting our needs. She was absolutely wonderful!!

We've stayed at this location before, but this time we were bringing our 3 granddaughters with plans to visit SeaWorld the next day and the new Sesame Street Land. We got a 2 BR unit which gave us 3 beds plus a sofa bed, so there was no issue with sleeping. The location is literally no more than 5 minutes from SeaWorld. A great bonus was learning that the hotel provides guests with free Quick Queue for the park. My only negative was that in past years this place had one of the best breakfast buffets of any place we stayed, but this time it seems like they've really cut back on options. Our girls were really disappointed there was no bacon (only sausage), and the fruit options were very limited. But that did not override the overall convenience and experience. Will definitely use this place again.

New favorite Marriott property in Orlando area

This hotel feels more like a resort, with excellent staff, plenty of space to relax, comfortable rooms, easy parking, a gym, fire pit seating area, large pool, and a variety of options for breakfast. The location is convenient to Sea World, Disney World, outlet shopping, and a nearby hospital. From the parking area on the west side of the resort you can even see the nightly fireworks of the Magic Kingdom. Suites 1024 (accessible) and 1025 are the first rooms off the lobby (take a right turn after checking in at front desk) so are very close if you want to be near breakfast/lobby, but will have lots of folks passing by the room so might be noisier than other rooms. I have stayed at other Marriott properties nearby over the past fewyears: Courtyard, Towneplace Suites, another Residence Inn, etc., but this is my new favorite.

Great place to stay for Disney vacation.

This Residence Inn is a nice short drive from Disney World or Universal Studios. It appears to have been recently renovated because it looks very nice! Rooms are very nice, breakfast is included. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Stood in this hotel for 1 week during peak season in Orlando in July 2019. What a mistake. Long story short: stay away from this place. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is modern and beautiful. The Queen room we stood in looked like it has been recently remodeled. The sofa bed in the living was perfect for my daughter. We appreciated having a full-size refrigerator. The stove, however, was not working. This was unfortunate as the food we brought to cook went to waste and we were forced to eat outside. The hotel has a restaurant/bar area that doesn't open until late-afternoon. The pool itself was clean and the area well-maintained. The breakfast was very good with many different options, but, I warn you - be careful about staying here during peak season. Since the breakfast is complementary, the breakfast area is CRAZY from the moment it opens (families are trying to eat and get to the theme park early, after all). If you can put this aside, you will enjoy your meal. There was never any seating available in breakfast area so we grabbed our food and ate in the room. I went down to lobby area one Tuesday evening only to find out that, unlike most Residence Inns, there is no evening reception here. This was not clear on the website nor did front desk staff inform us. I guess this is a good way to cut costs, especially during peak season. This is not an issue in Embassy Suites. The service is what kills this place. My Marriott Titanium status was not recognized. During peak season, do not expect any upgrades or outstanding service. Housekeeping carelessly took several articles of spouse's BLACK clothing that were mixed in with the WHITE bedding (how was this not seen?). The hotel outsources laundry/dry-cleaning so the articles were never found. I called hotel several times to follow up, but there was no apology or any kind gestures. Overall, very disappointed in this place. We made the best of a bad situation and still managed to enjoy a nice family vacation. I am loyal to Marriott and will continue to stay in their properties, but I will definitely never stay here again. You should do the same.
