    The hotel is very clean and very friendly all rooms are made every single day which is good as we get clean towels which is needed, all entertainment staff are very very good cherry and Morocha with all guests and they are always happy and always smiling, there are a lot of different things going on around the pool and beach inviting all the guests to play along, when coming back to the Dominican republic I would definitely recommend this hotel when coming to punta cana.

    When I first arrived at the hotel we were welcomed by the most friendly people at the reception, And made very welcome from the minute we walked into the hotel, the rooms are cleaned everyday and new towels and bed sheets, entertainment staff are very good with people who are staying there different activities on the beach and in the pool every day MOROCHA, CHERRY, POKEMON ,POLIN ,CHOCOLATE Y ALEXANDER they made us feel very welcome, always smiling and happy which made us feel like they wanted us to be here, I would definitely come back to this hotel as all staff are friendly and make us feel welcome and it’s a very very clean hotel.

    Experience is excellent. Cherry in morocha is the best. Keep her employed here. I will keep comming back if she is still hired here. She is so great to the customers and friendly to everyone around the resort. My favory shows in the nitgh is fabulous , cowboy , and Dominican ???? I love Dominican for ever.??

    If you expect an AI hotel, please don’t be a guest at this place. I guess this hotel should lived his best days on the 90’s. Right now they have old rooms and equipment, people gives you a terrible service, I think they probably are low paid, but it is not guest fault, so they must train all their personnel in order to Improve service quality an try to be more emphatic and kind. Food is not quite good, just a regular meal nothing great. My room had some failures on the AC, and some lights, they didn’t bother in solve this situation; in my friends rooms they found terrible conditions in their mini fridge... so it is not an awesome stay. Please think about your guest and try to improve your accommodations.

    Upon arrival at the Ocean Blue and Sand in Punta Cana on October 14th 2019, we were told that our room had been upgraded to a Privilege Suite and were asked to sign a waiver to say that we accepted the change – I now know why. We were allocated a nice room on the ground floor in Building 6, the room (6109) was nice spacious but felt and smelt quite damp we put this down to it just being cleaned and the AC being at a very low temperature. The bathroom was ok but the Shower glass could have done with a clean and also the glass panel was moving. We were only staying at the Resort for 5 days so we just let it be. At 2.30am I needed to use the bathroom, so as not to disturb my Husband and 2 Sons I didn’t switch the light on. Imagine my horror when I sat in a bowl of backed up toilet water. Again not wanting to disturb my family I showered went back to bed to deal with it at a reasonable hour. At 6.30am my son got up to use the bathroom and to our disgust the toilet had overflowed all over the bathroom floor and out to the hallway (picture attached). I immediately called the Reception, explained the situation and asked them to send somebody over immediately. My son and I had to walk out to the pool area to use the public restrooms. Half an hour later one man appears with a plunger, he sees the situation and walks off shaking his head. One hour later I am still waiting for somebody to arrive. After another phone call housekeeping arrives and cleans up the mess, leaving us with soaking wet towels and unable to wash or shower. By 2.30pm our room had still not been cleaned so we took the trolley down to guest services. After about 5 minutes of speaking with Carlos in Guest Services we realized they just do not give a damn. We were told that we have a privilege room that we did not pay for and the problem had been fixed and they would do no more. In fact Carlos’s supervisor who was sitting next to him did not speak up but instead went to another office to telephone him and told him to tell us they would/could not help us. As a good will gesture Carlos said he would have somebody decorate the room (with what!!!! And Why!!! We asked). They also offered us a “Special Dinner” on our last night. After settling for a good room clean and the Special dinner we finally left knowing that we had just wasted 1 more hour on top of that morning of our vacation time. Our room was not given a “Special Clean” and when we turned up for the so called “Special Dinner” it was to a Restaurant that was closed. We live and work in Florida in the Hospitality Industry and I would in no way shape or form treat any of our guests in this manner. I am absolutely shocked and appalled at the Level of Customer Service and disregard that this Resort showed. As mentioned earlier when checking in the room was quite damp. We had to contend with getting into beds that felt damp and even clothes hanging in the closet felt damp. The second picture shows a book that I had been reading, on our last night I had taken it out of my bag and left it on the table. This is how the book looked by the next morning, I hate to think what my family and I have been breathing in all week. We had a good time because of the friends we were with and we refused to let the shoddiness of the Resort Staff ruin our long awaited time with friends. THE RESORT ITSELF IS NIC, THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. WHAT A SHAME THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THE RESORT ARE SO USELESS.
