This was our 4th visit to this Dreams. We knew going in that somethings would be different due to Covid and the hurricanes they had been hit by. Frist of all they are cleaner and safer than we are at home. They have mats to clean your shoes before coming in, hand sanitizer everywhere. All employees wear mask, and goggles at all times and they carry hand sanitizer if you need it. We wore mask when we were walking around and in the restaurants. The staff at this resort are amazing. Jessica in coco cafe makes good coffee and super nice. Dulce took great care of us when we were beach side. Mario and Edgar treat us like family and are excellent at their jobs. Giovanni is a great entertainer and you can tell he loves he job. The barracuda bar , Mexican restaurant and Oceana were closed from the hurricane damage. The bar did open before we left, make sure to check it out they have swings and and you can sit there and watch the ocean. The food was hit or miss due to low capacity (42%). Would café for breakfast. We were there 13 days and only the Seaside and barefoot grill were open for lunch, with the same menu that did get old fast. Dinner they would rotate the menu for the closed restaurants Room Service is good and make sure to get the nachos. wings, quesadillas and the New York these were all good. The resorts is inside of a gated community and we were prepared to go out there and eat which we did. Hippo, and Cafe Ole were very good. The gated community is great to explore rent a golf cart and check it out. We just asked the guy who checks your bags in at the lobby he will get a golf cart for you. We paid 55.00 for 24 hours. There is a small ruin inside the community you will need the golf cart to find it, it was pretty cool its not on the paper map they give you. There is a map by Cafe ole in town you can see the ruins on that map. While driving around if you come across a guard at a street just tell them your from Dreams and just checking things out they will let you through.(there is one place that won't) There are restaurants and shops. Dinner time they have live music and some of the places it was fun! There are dolphins there as well they were very playful . All in all we love this place and were prepared for things to be different this trip. We had a great time and will be back

We booked the Dreams Wedding Package in 2019 after my boyfriend proposed in Mexico during our stay in December2019. This year returned on were married there on the resort on 11/12/2020. It was amazing. We were familiar with the staff from the year before and seeing familiar faces was incredible. I can't say enough about my Wediing Coordinator, Brenda. She made everything stress free and she was so delightful to work with. She made it perfect.

First off, the staff could not be any better! Any concerns were handled immediately. The location is great, Puerto Aventuras is an entire gated town. Our family felt very safe walking around the marina, shops and restaurants off resort but still within town. Dolphins in the marina and in the bay within the resort were fun and even the wild ones interact with you. If you throw seaweed to them the flung it back using their mouth and they are more accurate than Aaron Rodgers! (I live in Wisconsin so I had to use a Green Bay Packer reference) The resort's beach is gorgeous, full of soft white sand. The only drawback is the lack of restaurant selection. Please understand that they just had 2 nearly back to back hurricanes within w weeks prior to my visit. The Mexican and seafood restaurant are being rebuilt. It's a hit or miss what restaurant is open for dinner and what they might be serving as well as what is availablefrom a pretty limited room service menu. Again, they've been closed for 5 months, reopened for 2 and had 2 hurricanes so I won't hold this against the resort, but it was a little irritating.

The waiters also amazing fernando dulce etc, I must say overall costumer service the top of the top! The beach is the best because is like a golf so it suits Perfect for little ones, very safe. Thanks Everyone at Dreams for making our stay fabulous!!

Booking All Inclusive is BREAKFAST ONLY

We booked our "All Inclusive" reservation for this place, come to find out its "All Inclusive" BREAKFAST ONLY, you will have to pay an additional $50/day to get to the All inclusive that you already booked. This is some shady stuff, they know you just took an expensive shuttle and taxi to get there and you don't really have an option to leave so most will pay. Before you go to this place doesn't matter if your reservation says all inclusive, call them and make sure it is and ask them to send you an email stating your reservation is all inclusive.
