We came here for our wedding in Feb 2020! Here are my main takeaways: -Lizbeth was the perfect wedding planner. Highly recommend her -Loved my pictures from Adventure Photos. Our photographer was Ana, she was fabulous, I also recommend her -Hospitality here was above and beyond for the most part! Maids come multiple times a day tho, so just put up the don’t disturb hanger on the door if you don’t like that -I loved Cibu! But Fresco was good too! The Bluewater grill and Barefoot grill were great lunch options. The buffet had a great breakfast selection. -The pool is massive! There is a lot going on but you can find a quiet corner if you want! -Our makeup and hair were okay, my girl (forget the name) did really follow my pictures for makeup. I just redid what I could what I got to my room after. She tried to just cover up a glue error (I opened my eyes before my lashes were dry and transferred some glue) and instead of wiping it off she just tried to cover it. I just asked her to redo it and she did. Also too much eyeliner for my taste (my picture I showed her barely had any and she did a thick line with a wing) but I couldn’t take it off and it looked fine in pictures. Not a big deal. Also I had t tone down my eyebrows, again, not a huge deal. Easy fix. -we had our ceremony on the beach. It was a little windy, but perfect otherwise! - our supper was at the preferred pool. We had a small group and I strongly recommend this for people who like privacy. I noticed other locations were fairly out in the open so this was a perfect location for an intimate setting. - I didn’t get the names but our servers and bartenders for our wedding supper were AWESOME! Our wedding day and overall trip were perfect. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

We spent 7 days at this resort for a business trip and here's a few good and bad tips from our time spent there. Good: Service is awesome! From the wait staff to bartenders to housekeeping, you really won't find nicer people who truly care. Food is awesome. The lunch buffet was awesome with such fresh choices of fish, pork and beef, along with any vegetable you like, there is something for everyone. It is a "Family" resort so keep that in mind if you don't care to have little ones around. 24 hour room service was quick and delicious! Bad: Beach and Pool bars close at 5:00. This is unacceptable to us. The sun is still shining and there is fun to be had, you feel like you are at work and have to go back to your room to get a drink at 5:00. That is the worst part of this resort. The beach bar also closes at 5:00 and then guess what? Everyone goes to their room, cleans up and bombards the restaurants at 6:00 when they open to get a table. It's really ridiculous because then we get told there are 15 table ahead of us and we have to wait two hours to eat at an ala'carte restaurant. There is really nothing going on in the lobby area till later so what are you to do for all that time? We ate at the buffet except for two nights we could actually get a table. You don't feel like you are on vacation because you have to "line up" to get a table. It's a horrible way to do things and I hope the resort does better at this. TIP: Do the bike ride to Puerto Morelos. It's fun and you get to see a quaint fishing town. Very safe. The kids play area is very tiny but nice. I would not recommend this to anyone with kids over 8 or 9 years old.

NOW Sapphire is a good place. Very good service. Right on the beach. Lots to do - food is good -- some places great. The entertainment was a lot of fun! Rooms were pretty good --- all could be a bit updated -- but overall great place and our stay was made memorable by the service being so great. From the beginning with Liliana Sosa -- from UVC -- who took great care to ensure we were all set with all we needed -- transpo - and any excursions. She helped with all questions we had. She was great!! The service at hotel was on point. I think service is quite important so i was happy with it all! Will be back!!

Just back from really enjoyable 2 week vacation. Most impressed by the standard of service. All staff are so friendly, helpful and well-trained. We were especially well looked after by Martin and his team at the Adults only pool, so a big thanks to him.
