Incredible stay!

My fiancé and I were in town for a few days, and we are so happy that we chose to stay at the Beacon hotel. The second we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly doorman, and then Alma helped us out with our reservation. The staff at the restaurant from breakfast to the bar, were extremely friendly. Special thanks to Emilee, Sally, Lance and Jalerzhino for extraordinary service.

Room is tiny, like European hotel room tiny. Bathroom was the size of a closet. Worst of all was the sleep. Bed was fine, but there is zero sound deafening or proofing. Every siren or horn woke you up as if it was in your room. Obviously it’s a busy downtown area, but plenty of other hotels aren’t as loud. Worst hotel stay of the last decade.

The location was good, but the room, especially the bathroom, was shabby and poorly maintained. Thin walls and doors left me hearing everything happening in the hallway at all hours, as well as conversations and activities in nearby rooms.
One of my favorite hotels in San Francisco. Bay Area resident!

A beautiful newly renovated hotel. The decor is classy and the rooms eclectic and very clean. I highly recommend the Post Room for dinner and the Starlight Room for cocktails. The location is just off Union Square so it’s very easy to walk and shop. The service and staff l give 5 stars!
Weekend stay

I stayed for 3 nights at the Beacon Grand. I had heard about it from work and thought it would be a good place to go an explore the city. It was just a few feet away from the Union Square and had amazing stores just a walk away. Rooms were intimate but enough room for myself and my partner. Highly recommend if you want to stay near some of the more touristy spots.
