We had spent 2 nights up the Road in another resort (awful) but the weather was perfect for a beach day so we went online and booked here. Checkin was good with social distancing, we got an upgraded room (king and suite) bc they were running short on rooms with 2 beds and we were able to check in early. We were on 7th floor. Our room was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed both pools and beach. The beach crew couldn’t have been nicer, more polite, helpful. Housekeeping couldn’t wait to get us out and the banging on the door, despite do not disturbed started a full hour before checkout. If she knocked once more I would have just answered it w/o clothes on. Let people get dressed and out without being obnoxious. Live music at rum runners kept us on property through the dinner hour so we stayed and ate. Forgot how much you love live music and drinks until Covid changed the typical weekend. Great distancing at rum runners. Prior commenter is on point— there was no one enforcing distance at pool and kids were permitted to run wild— in hot tub, jump out, race to pool, jump in& repeat. Loved the towel vending machine, two free drinks and beach chairs. $25 for umbrella for day when offset by chairs and drinks is nothing and there are plenty of complainers but where else can you get 2 drinks, 2chairs, umbrella beach front for $25. We would like to come back and spend a few more nights relaxing on the beach listening to acoustic music. Maybe next month!

Terribly dirty room & beautiful beach

We stayed for three nights in the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever been in. It was a celebration for my daughter going away to college & we didn’t feel like moving. For over $1000 for three nights we expected cleanliness but we had 1. Roaches 2. Musty smell 3. Things caked with dust 4. Tub didn’t drain 5. Lots of tiny baby spiders all over the table 6. Smokers all over the property so you’ll need your mask to walk through that filth to get to your room 7. The beach was beautiful & the guys working there were top notch & polite. 8. People blasting techno music all over the beach. If you’re used to a more refined, clean, family environment this is not it. There’s a lot of potential here but it’s so dirty!

Had a great time at the Sirata. Don’t listen to all the negative reviews. My wife and I just spent our honeymoon here and enjoyed every minute of it. The room was spacious and the bed was great. They offered live music daily and the location of the hotel was great. Publix is in walking distance and lots of restaurants to choose from. You can’t go wrong with the Sirata.

Great beach & staff, no social distancing

Visited last month. Kim at the front desk was awesome. The water was crystal clear & nice beach chairs. Only complaint was there was absolutely no social distancing at the bar or pool, which made us all very uneasy.

When our trip to the Bahamas for a cruise was canceled due to Covid we had to think fast and rebook somewhere in the US. Came across Sirata as an option and we were not disappointed. While it wasn't all inclusive, all of the amenities were there! The ocean was beautiful, the sand was gorgeous, the resort was well kept and the rooms were clean. We had an awesome room looking out over the ocean and could sit on the balcony and have coffee every morning. One downfall was that no alcohol is "allowed" on the beach. We did take a cooler with a few drinks and it was fine but did not know this beforehand. The resort itself is nice. It is older but well kept. Staff was very friendly, except one server at Rum Runners. Many restaurants are within walking distance to the resort. The biggest downfall I had was that on top of the hotel rate you have to pay a "resort fee" daily that can be up to $40 per day. I don't feel like there was anything that was included with the resort fee except a towel for the beach. However- I would 100% recommend this resort for a relaxing getaway. We didn't take kids with us but it looked like there was also plenty for them to do as well- 2 pools, splash pad and a kid area (which may have been closed due to covid). Felt very safe on the resort at all times as well.
