Ski Marmot Basin offers 696 hectares (1,720 acres) of diverse, skiable terrain on five mountain faces from mid-November to early May. The 91 named runs make this an ideal area for skiers to enjoy alpine bowls, moguls, treed glades and cruising on uncrowded, groomed runs. The seven modern lifts are designed to allow all skill levels, from novice to expert, to ski their favourite runs then ride the same lift together. Nature delivers over 440 centimeters of dry, Rocky Mountain snow annually to Jasper’s only ski area, which boasts the highest base elevation of any major ski area in Canada. The ski area is located 20 km south of Jasper, an authentic mountain town with friendly locals. The slopes of Ski Marmot Basin in the Canadian Rockies is the destination to create wonderful memories skiing and snowboarding this winter.
