Please note: The main pool, Las Brisas, is currently under constructions and is scheduled for completion in early November. The La Paloma Pool is the alternate option and the Las Hadas adult pool is also open.
Overall a great experience.
We were welcomed as Titanium guests and received a beautiful suite upgrade, where we had a nice sized bedroom, cozy sitting area and large dining room. We enjoyed a continental breakfast each day at their hotel restaurant.
The main pool area was closed for renovations which left the hotel with two smaller pools. During the week, the pools were both extremely quiet. On the weekend, the pools were busier but manageable.
The weight room was nice as were and not too busy.
Overall a great experience and look forward to visiting again.
Must wear a mask except not anyone wears them including staff
(Los Angeles, California)
Sep 06, 2021
I had to make a quick trip out to palm springs to pick up my son, who was staying with a friend for the weekend.
I grabbed a room for one night stay.
There are signs everywhere telling you to wear masks. Except for NO ONE, including most of the STAFF were not wearing a mask.
From my perspective, if your JOB is dealing with the PUBLIC, two things are a must given what is happening in the Globe.
(1) You must be vaccinated
(2) You must be wearing a mask
Until this virus is not around and we are not filling up all our hospital beds, then VAX and MASK UP!
Rooms: The rooms are worn and need an update
F&B: The front desk guy, when we checked in at 3 Am, told us we could either have points or get a free Bfast. I took the BFast, he told us it was for a Continental but could be upgraded to eat a better breakfast. The next morning I told our sever showed him the card, and he took it. We ordered and were charged full price.
I told the server, and he said NO, the card is only good for Continental, and the desk was wrong.
I am thinking, WAIT, YOU COULD HAVE SAID THAT BEFORE WE ORDERED WHEN I HANDED YOU THE CARD AND TOLD YOU WHAT I WANTED TO DO.
I went to the Front Desk told them what happened, and they apologized. I told them they (the people in the restaurant) are blaming the front desk, by the way. They said the FRONT DESK gets blamed for everything.
They said we would apply the points instead.
Since this is supposed to be a resort I felt the staff was in need of training in customer service. It was a bit more of a casual type vibe. The restaurant was more of Diner type vibe.
