Just finished an 11 night stay at GCBC. We had first visited the property back in the early 90s pre-kids and revisited just now with the last of 4 having graduated college this past May. My wife and I stayed in room 709 which is a deluxe ocean facing suite. Rooms were big especially the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The 700 building faces the Petit Plage beach which is a little bigger, sand wise, and also very close to the bar, restaurant and pool. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Gary. We had a car which is needed if you plan to do more than just walk to Grand Case which we also did many times. There was a security guard who was patrolling the road from the hotel to downtown Grand Case at night. I am not sure who employed him but we did get to know him from our frequent trips into town for dinner. Would highly recommend GCBC for a relaxing stay whch was much needed after the last 18 months.
Wonderful people and spacious accommodation

We (family of 4 with kids 18 & 16) took an approximate 20-minute taxi (55 Euros) from the airport to GCBC. Our taxi driver-for no additional cost- stopped at Super U on the way so we could buy groceries. We were warmly greeted and shared laughs with the reception staff. Literally every employee was friendly and welcoming and enhanced our stay. We booked a 2-bedroom, ocean view room- 711. The kids loved their spacious room, bathroom, and balcony. View was incredible. The kitchen area was well stocked for casual meal prep. Coffee was provided. I love a bone-chillingly cold room— this place has GREAT ac. Three t.v.s. Overall very clean; housekeeping did miss some dust bunnies. The cafe, which we enjoyed several times, divides the beach into 2 sections. Both are great. One has only a few lounge chairs, as the water is close to the sea wall. Perfectly placid and crystal-clear, turquoise sea. Gated access to property. My son used the small gym and liked it (5 Euros per day). Great boardwalk with incredible viewpoints, chairs. We felt safe walking 10-15 minutes into town for dinner. A few things kept me from rating GCBC a 5. Some of the towels, while clearly laundred, had small stains on them. One of the bed top sheets had a hole. The hair dryer had a very sticky handle with someone else’s hair stuck all over it; when I reported this a new one was delivered ASAP. The lock on the sliding door in the living room was broken; when reported, we were told it was ok because it was the second floor. There were several cute cats roaming the property; when we entered the pool area, there was feces on the concrete. The public areas and grounds would benefit from attention. Landscaping or flowers of some sort, paint touch ups, etc. My kids have stayed in some very nice properties over the years and loved this place. I’d stay again for them and I’d enjoy the people, views, and incredible water.

From start to finish the resort was awesome! The people in the resort office were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and modern, the grounds were constantly being cleaned and the water was amazing! Great experience...and we'll definitely be back.
An amazing trip to paradise

Decided to book a trip as a present to myself and my boyfriend for graduating graduate school and we were so happy with our choice. It was an amazing stay at the GCBC; the service was very kind, the bar and restaurant staff were so great, and all together everyone we encountered there were very nice. My boyfriend has a lot of food allergies, that could be very detrimental, but Saverio at the Sunset Cafe was always cautious when it came to us ordering our food. The hotel room itself was very clean, the resort was very quiet, and it was the perfect getaway from the craziness that is going on right now.
Can’t wait to go back to GCBC

We ended up here basically by accident as we rebooked after learning about the curfew and have zero regrets! We decided to opt for a quieter scene and this was absolutely perfect. Our family of 3 stayed for a week and loved snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the serene and perfectly blue calm waters on Grand Case and Petit Plage, which are on either side of the resort. There are plenty of chairs and hammocks and shady spots all over the resort. My kid also loved the pool on the top deck of the hotel. You can see the most stunning sunsets from this deck and from the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen. We shopped at the Super U down the road and stocked our fridge which made breakfast super easy. A short walk and you are on a small street in Grand Case that has a few cute shops, some of the best local barbecue at the Lolos which coexist right next to the most delicious and decadent high end restaurants on the island. We rented a car which made exploring the island easy. We cannot wait to go back to GCBC very soon!
