Good value, spacious, quiet hotel close to the beach in Holetown

This was our second visit to All Seasons Europa and it was pretty much as we remembered it four years ago – a simple but very spacious and nicely appointed chalet, with an open, spacious and well laid out hotel infrastructure, lots of garden (mainly grass) and a good pool. It is in a pleasant local residential area about 15-20 minutes’ walk from the centre of Holetown and with complementary access to the Beach Club in the centre of Holetown. The chalet was well equipped with a full-length mirror, good lighting above mirrors, plenty of wardrobe space and hangers, and a good strong shower. Three negative aspects: (1) No AC in the living area and the AC in the bedroom does not really carry to the living area; (2) Weak and unreliable Wi-Fi; (3) A rather old-fashioned in-room safe system, cumbersome to set up (requiring external involvement of the front desk) and they charge US$2.50 per day for it – not a lot, but unusual in this day and age. All in all, a very enjoyable second stay and we will return. We even had a visitor (a wild monkey) on the hedge outside our door on the final morning. He or she was more interested in the fruit on the ground at the back than in us, so we could get some good photos - see one attached.

    Good value for Barbados

Just returned after a week in Barbados.. for the money, the hotel offers good value compared to similar properties that charge more. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not a 5-star so set your expectations accordingly. You would be paying much more.. Barbados is expensive in general. Some minor improvements the hotel could make are having a coffee maker in every room; a few supplies for arrival day such as a couple bottles of water, coffee packets, etc.; deep cleaning/painting in the rooms that haven't been refurbished yet (not dirty but dusty corners and scuff marks); and better wifi (it is spotty and doesn't reach all rooms). All in all, good experience with staff that really do try to accommodate guests and make their stay enjoyable.

    Sixth visit!

The title says it all and they keep on improving the hotel, modernising the rooms and have noted some of the few criticisms that people have made. We keep returning and enjoying the friendly relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

We booked this hotel through travel republic for our honeymoon 28th October to 11november On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with you have to pay Barbados tourist tax which was ok as it was a government levy.them we were told there was a 400 Barbados dollars charge for air conditioning which we disputed we had paid but they were not interested then there was a charge of 150 US dollars security deposit which doesn’t get refunded for 10 days after you check out in which time your already back in the uk we were then taken to an apartment which was supposed to be a garden view which was in the woods the apartment smelt of damp and very dated and dirty The following morning my partner had woken up and been bitten alive by red ants which were all in the bed sheets..we approached the reception to raise our complaint and asked to be moved they said they had no other rooms the only ones they had were refurbished ones round the pool and there was a 4 day wait for this and there would be a charge of 300 US dollars to move we raised the issue we should not have to pay but again it fell on deaf ears We paid the upgrade fee because we could not stay in that room for the 14 days of honeymoon we were told by travel republic that building works would be goin on around the pool in the apartments but would be completed by the end of October this was not the case.every morning from 08.30 till 18,00 there was neumatic drilling grinding and banging We again raised the complaint to the hotel but again there not interested Eventually after a meeting with manager they agreed to pay us back the 300 US dollars we paid for the upgrade we declined this as we said we would be looking for more as it has ruined our honeymoon they were not interested and told us to take this up the tour operator when we returned home Very very poor customer service from the hotel and tour operator

The staff were nice but the place is just beyond bad. The rooms are nothing like the very edited photos , old out of date and the security is Lacking. They ask for a deposit of $300 on arrival. Stray cats and the odd monkey do nothing to help. The restaurant is not open and the bar is poor. The air con is only in the bedroom and operated by a key so when you go out it doesn’t run and cool the room. The kitchen and sitting room are so hot but opening the doors encourages the cats! The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the sheets don’t even fit the beds. I checked out early as I just couldn’t bare another day/night.
