There is a level of expectation anticipated when you pay the premium to stay at a Hilton Hotel. This is not the case at the Hilton Barbados. This is during the Covid crisis, so expectations have to be realistic, however the Hilton has delivered none of the promises that Hilton Group make. Service was terrible, the restaurants were not all open, despite the website attestations. The pool bar, the only bar that was open, closed before even the gorgeous sunset had completed its beautiful ritual. It could have been made easier by the staff, however apart from one or two, who displayed typical Bajan friendliness, the majority of the staff were unwelcoming, particularly the senior staff. All in all, an expensive experience that should not be repeated. We left after two days to seek an alternative resting place for the remainder of our 2 week vacation. Try the Crane Resort! 5 star service and the antithesis to the Hilton.

We are back in Barbados for a holiday during a pandemic. So what does this mean? Well it means you have to have a COVID negative test 72 hours before arriving in Barbados and when you arrive quarantine for 7 day’s or pay for another test when you get here. This obviously adds to the cost of your trip but to be honest to get away from it all to this wonderful island absolutely makes up for it. What Hilton haven’t told you is they have a pool area specifically for guests awaiting results or quarantining where you can get drinks and food. The protocols implemented here are excellent and make you feel completely safe. Well done yet again Hilton Resort Barbados your staff are a credit to the Hilton brand.

    Still My Favourite in Barbados!

I live in Barbados and whenever I'm looking to relax, especially at the weekend the Hilton remains an excellent choice. I've spent about 20 nights here throughout summer on 5-6 stays and they were all superb. I absolutely love the Fort Tower Ocean View Rooms which are great as you can see both the stunning Caribbean Sea and the hotel's impressive pool network. My preferred rooms are 555, 557 or 559 all depending on whether I need two bed or one. Evening during the early stages of the pandemic the hotel remain opened and service is still very good. As a Diamond member I get upgraded on each and every stay and getting a late check out is never a problem. Breakfast options are a little scaled back due to COVOD-19 but there is still something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Great, safe hotel during the pandemic. Comical prices once you're here...

We arrived from the UK and awaited our negative test results in a great room with amazing views, service and room service. The reception staff have been very helpful during this time where a lot of hotel facilities and surrounding businesses are closed. The beach is great. Some feedback and a warning for new guests - The only thing that has spoilt the stay a little is obtaining food, drinks and particularly water for drinking from the Hilton. Fancy a couple of local beers from the bar? (Close to 25 USD), small club sandwich from the cafe (17.50 USD), water (4 USD) and so on). The prices on the breakfast menu are comical (5 USD for a muffin etc.) if you don't have this included. If you ask for water you will get directed to the local petrol station, a 15 min walk in the heat. Prices have almost doubled since 4 years ago. I saw 3 guests collecting take-out food including ourselves from the lobby yesterday evening - it seems people are finding it equally unaffordable once here. If the facilities were affordable they were be used a lot more.

The front desk clerks were extremely wonderful. The person who checked me in was name Katrina W. I had a dream I have a room with view of the beach in 405. She worked tirelessly to make that happen. The food and amenities were awesome!!! Thank you so much for making our trip memorable! Blessings??
