We love this place, so much to do so much to eat!!!! Restaurants are amazing and the staff are very pleasant and happy to help. We had butler service (Abigail and Nikita) they made our trip special and really looked after us. We will definitely be returning in the future ????

Arlene, our concierge, gave us a tour of the resort & covered the amenities in our room. We were in paradise. I told her I was celebrating my birthday & I would like dinner on the beach. She said leave the details to me. On my bday, it was unbelievable! A lovely rose was presented, a Candlelit dinner on the beach & Arlene had decorated my rm w/ a Birthday sign, balloons & left an after dinner dessert. She is wonderful! Thank u! My 57th bday was memorable! I always provide fdbck to help others make good travel decisions so here goes: A hit are the numerous Swimming pools & the luxurious Rooftop infinity pool/bar that are always jamming with music. Shout out to the DJs!! The restaurants on site are divine. Appreciate the diversity available if staying for a week or longer. Fav were Butch Chophouse, CHI, La Parisenne, Soy & Neptune. I didn’t think I would have as much FUN as I did in Montego Bay partying, but I did. The entertainment provided was first class from the DJs, the emcees, Corie the singing bellman, & Ricardo the island tour guide. Who knew a bowling alley could turn into da club!! Visit Lover’s Lane ya’ll. I’m just sayin! Don't miss out on the tour to Mount Gay to get your drink on & Harrison Cave. Process Improvement needed on Room Service Delivery. Ordered breakfast at 9. Order did not show up until 10:40am. Disappointed that BF was lukewarm. Please resolve. Overall, my stay was fantastic & I'd do it again. Can’t wait for my next VACA w/ Sandals.

Outstanding all round and the staff really made a difference!!

We booked Sandals Royal Barbados for a 6 night stay in September and we haven't had any regrets whatsoever. All of our initial concerns about all inclusive places were laid to rest almost immediately. The welcome on arrival was a nice touch by the staff who we found always welcoming (we found Barbadians to be lovely and very friendly people). The check-in process was probably the only slight let down as our room was not ready for the expected 3pm slot. Also we had checked in online as advised on the Sandals website but that appeared to make little to no difference to the check in so my advice would be not to bother with that as you have to provide all the information again on arrival. Aside from the check-in process everything else was truly outstanding. Our room was great, the facilities were all of high quality, the grounds, beach, pools, chill out spots, games areas were all stunning and very well maintained. We had load of fun at the swim-up pools, and in the warm, crystal clear caribbean sea which is very well maintained by Sandals. The Red Lane fitness centre is also a decent quality gym with free weights, treadmills and cross-trainers. It isn't a big gym and I've certainly seen much better but it is good enough for what it is. On to the Restaurants and food in general. We were very impressed with all the restaurants we ate at. Butch's Chophouse was the clear winner with lovely steaks (wagyu and ribeye were awesome). Kimono's and Chi were also pretty good and La Parissiene was also great and with a stunning view too. Breakfast at American Tavern buffet style was good but we preferred ordering of the menu at La Parissiene. 1 thing that could be better is the coffee - he only decent coffee we had was at Cafe de Paris which also does awesome shakes and crepes! Finally on to the staff - they truly make Sandals a wonderful place. Notwithstanding the fact we did NOT have a butler we found everyone to be super friendly and helpful. Bar staff, restaurant staff, entertainment team, staff going about their daily work all went out of the way to say hello and ask how your day was going. I didn't expect this kind of service at an all-inclusive resort but we were pleasantly surprised. Contrary to some other reviews you definitely don't need a butler and you can still get seats by the pools and the beach (if you want a choice spot then you might have to get up a bit earlier). Tips - South Seas building is the furthest away from the beach and main pool so if you want to be close to those then book a room in the other buildings. 2. Make dinner reservations the day you arrive (at check in).

Unfortunately the most expensive and least pleasant Sandles stay. We have been to St Lucia, Antiqua, Montego Bay and White House and found Barbados substandard. Stocking the room with drinks took 3 days and 5 calls to concierge. We recevier 1 bottle and told they are out of Rum??? It took 6 calls everytime until concierge answered phone. We ordered room service and told it maybe a 1 hour wait and accepted the wait. When food came it was completely cold. Can cheese was not melted on the cold burger. Tips are to be included but bartenders accepted and preferential services were rendered while non-tippers were overlooked. We went to the loyalty office to Express our disappointment and were met with interrogation and a dismissive attitude. Housekeeping was excellent Rich G.

We tried one of Sandals' newest resort, Royal Barbados. What a beautiful resort, with many rooms having a soaking tub on the balcony. The rooftop pool was our favorite spot, with a spa, Sky Bar, and French Restaurant. Great view! The pool at the beach has a glass wall for viewing from the outside. But you really get two resorts for the price of one. The Sandals Barbados is right next door and has several pathways between them, so you don't even realize you're in another resort. It adds several restaurants and pools to explore. And of course, Sandals employees are the best - never say "No". Worth the trip.
