    We got married at this resort and then continued our stay for our honeymoon. The wedding could not have gone better. It was better than we ever imagined. The resort itself really shines when you take a look at their staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming and goes above and beyond for the guests. We loved it here and will definitely come back. Also EVERYTHING is all inclusive!

    We are no strangers to all inclusive resorts. This is by far the best resort we have ever stayed at! The food, service, Spa, and entertainment is TOP NOTCH. We could not have asked for a better resort to stay at, and can’t wait to come back in a few months! We specifically would like to thank Armando and David at the pool bar, and Victor and his crew at the night bar! They really made our experience one of a kind. No matter how busy they were, they always remembered what we had previously ordered, got our drinks efficiently, made them deliciously, and did so always with the best attitude. 10/10 would recommend this resort!

    After spending 9 days at Excellence Riviera Cancun, my wife and I decided to extend our vacation and see what all the hype was about at EPM. First off I’d like to say we were completely blown away with the service at ERC. I don’t think we ever had an empty glass, towels were laid out on our day bed and lounge chairs promptly every morning, the food was literally to die for, and there were guys literally running around cleaning your sunglasses, the entertainment was super fun, every single person that crossed your path greeted you with a smile, I mean WOW! Granted while we were there in mid April, the resort was not at full capacity, but it did seem like they were at full staffing. I had heard it was almost a 2:1 ratio. EPM sadly did disappoint and it started as soon as we were able to check in. We had initially reserved a junior suite but prior to that portion of our trip (way more than 24hrs, more like a week and a half) We were able to find a EC swim out suite for the first two nights. So, we canceled the junior suite reservation and booked the EC swim out. Still have not been refunded!!! The swim out room itself was nice, minus the A/C was not great. The pool area for building 9 however is literally the water volleyball court and everyone is invited and it’s goes on for the better part of the day. Not exactly what we had in mind, but still tried to remain positive. The food itself was hit or miss. As I stated before the food at ERC was amazing, zero complaints there. However at EPM, it frequently left something to be desired. The breakfast buffet in particular is a joke at EPM, reminded me a lot of the chaos of a cruise ship buffet except it was the same amount of people and 1/4 the size. Horrible. Again, not the staffs fault. The staff themselves are hustling and busting their butts, there are just too many guests and too little staff. Seemed like every other name tag said, “trainee.” Which I get they need trained and there’s not better way to train than to throw them right into the fire. BUT, it’s a huge failure on managements part for allowing the company to book the resort to full capacity and only be half staffed. It’s not fair to the guests or the staff. It was our first trip to EPM and I have to admit we will not be back. We did talk to a lot of people who had been going there for years (hypesters) and they agreed that this trip had been their worst experience, but yet they had the memories of what it once was. My vote is ERC not EPM

    Another Perfect Stay

    This was our third stay at EPM and it seems to get better every time we go. We did a 2 story rooftop this time and that was amazing to say the least. The food was excellent and service was outstanding! Shout out to Yessica at the pool serving drinks!!!! She is amazing and my glass was never empty! We will be coming back soon.

    The only bad experience we had was with our room, the jacuzzi was running water out on the balcony and in the bed room area. We was unable to lounge in the jacuzzi and enjoy ourselves for relaxation. When I reported it to the receptionist, he offered nothing in return, but said thanks for reporting it.
