I had booked this resort for a special milestone birthday for my husband but the resort is a total let down. The hotel is very old and outdated. I booked an ocean view room and upon checking in, they gave a room on the 2 nd floor with view of the solar panels and so I asked to be moved to a different room and a higher floor. The phone is the room never worked nor did they fix it after reporting it to the front desk. The food option is awful. The buffet is gross and not very clean in nature. They have a Mexican night and served “Mexican” theme food in the buffet but I would not call that a Mexican food. They offered tacos and that’s pretty much it for Mexican food. I’m vegetarian and so I was looking forward to it and they didn’t even have beans. I’m simple, beans, rice, salsa and tortillas would do it for me but nope, nothing. The only thing worth raving about was the view. Once we were moved to a higher place, the views were spectacular. Room cleaning is savage, they start knocking on the doors before 8am. I mean we are on vacation, why in the world would we want leave that early in the morning. This resort is a joke. They should pay me to stay with and the other way around.

Needs major update and work on customer service.

First off when we checked in they couldn’t find our reservation. We booked with Apple vacations. We were treated like it was our fault. Then the elevator was broken down the whole week. This hotel is very much out dated. Shower head was broken sprayed everywhere. Linen was gray and dirty. Asked for towels and maid said later. Asked for bottles of water and we were told this is a green hotel so no they don’t give out bottles. Yet others in the hotel got them. Chairs in the lobby had tears in them and were repaired with duct tape. Also, paid a hotel tax of $20.00 at check in. But, when we were checking out they tried charging again. So please watch they don’t charge again. If you’re looking for cheap hotel with noting extra this place is for you

The waiter staff was exceptional,!! Oscar Gamal & Gaspar Gaman were the best servers…the whole waiter staff (Heider) as well as everyone was very attentive and extremely great and friendly. You can tell how you are treated they enjoy their jobs and it shows in the service they provided during not just this trip but the last 3 times we visited the resort!

We had a brilliant time. The staff are absolutely amazing and work so hard to keep the hotel running smooth. Nothing is too much. Stand out staff for us were definitely Oscar, Caspar and Marcos. We had a brilliant stay and the staff alone would make us return. Ph and the beach is unreal!

Great place to go! Oscar and everybody in the breakfast buffet are just great people! Jose, Carlos, Edith and Ricardo are the greatest bartenders! Very, very fun place to go! All of the staff is what makes this place a great place to go! Thank you!
