Being overcharged

We had a great time at the Sheraton Waikiki - we were originally booked into the Princess Kiaulani but due to renovations we got upgraded to the Sheraton. We got a US50 credit voucher to be used at one of the restaurants and was told to charge it to the room and it would be deducted when we left. We got back to Australia and 5 days later was charged US61 charge for the restaurant. I have tried 3 times to get a refund and was always told someone would get back to me within 3 - 5 working days. As it has been 6 weeks since we went we still haven't had a refund. They keep apologising but nothing is being done about it. Just be careful if you get a bonus credit and make sure you aren't charged before you leave the hotel. Apart from that it is a beautiful hotel and very comfortable.
Expensive but fantastic location with great views

We had booked an ocean view room & were upgraded to a diamond head view room - amazing view. Room is decent size & quite modern & clean. Shower however was over a bath so check other options if mobility issues. Nice balcony, small fridge & coffee machine in room. Foyer (on each level I presume) has ice machine, drinks machine & a microwave. Pool with slide & hot tubs is very nice & can walk from pool area onto beach for a dip in ocean too. Only discovered the infinity pool the day we left - on opposite side of hotel.
