Our stay was wonderful. The room, food, and hospitality made our anniversary so special. Every staff person was so welcoming. The food was amazing especially breakfast. Our photoshoot with Pacific Dreams Photography was beyond what we could ask for and provided memories to keep for a lifetime.

I’m writing this review on our last day of our vacation at this beautiful resort. We decided to go on our first family vacation to celebrate anniversary/birthday. Although it was a hard decision to make due to pandemic, we couldn’t be happier we made the choice to stay at Fairmont Kea Lani. We arrived late night during a pouring rain and was greeted by Kendra on a driveway! Check in was smooth and welcoming as she accommodated our last minute requests to make sure our 8 nights stay was memorable. Breakfast everyday at KO restaurant was spectacular! Drinks by the pool was refreshing, service by the beach was amazing. Thanks to front desk and concierge staff, we did so many activities here in this beautiful island of Maui - we completed road to Hana with our little one as well! We are so glad we chose to stay at the Fairmont. Beautiful property at a perfect location. We will be back!

A tale of two resorts during COVID: Fairmont vs. Four Seasons We stayed at both

We stayed in two ocean front villas with college aged daughter and her two room mates. Plus we had additional rooms with friends. I've never felt compelled to write a review for any hotel...this is my first and hopefully last. The resort should stop pretending to be open and just shut down. The main lobby bar is closed, the main pool bar/restaurant is closed, the breakfast restaurant is closed. Ko now serves breakfast with a very limited menu. The only retail in the entire resort is a small market/cafe that closes at 2:00! Need a swimming suit...forget it, there is zero retail. Breakfast is done at 10:00...don't sleep in. Zero room serivce!!! A drink at the pool takes 45 minutes and it arrives watered down...for $18.00! The Four Seasons next door is wide open: all bars, all restaurants and all retail. Live music in the evening, art exhibitions daily, Oh and room service 24 hours. I will never go back to the Fairmont but I will to the Four Seasons. Oh final kicker...my nightly room rate was off by almost $500 per room per night which I only just caught upon my return to the mainland! It's amazing how one resort can pivot and thrive during Covid and the other has been swallowed up by it.

Fairmont Maui staffer Kendra made this stay exceptional. If you own a hotel you should experience the customer service Kendra gives at check-in. She truly made the difference for us. One in a million. The hotel is lovely and the rooms are large, it’s an excellent hotel.

My family of four loved our stay at Fairmont Kea Lani. We originally booked a Deluxe Ocean view suite through Amex platinum and when we arrived were upgraded to the Signature Suite, we then decided to pay for an upgrade to a villa and it was the best choice we could have made. The villas are beautiful and huge, we had two bedrooms each with their own massive bathrooms, a kitchen and small plunge pool. The villas also included valet parking and free breakfast, which would have cost of over $200 a day. The service at the Fairmont is amazing, very attentive and friendly, I often got texts during our stay checking in to see if there was anything we needed. Since we stayed during Covid not all the restaurants were open but we were still able to get food poolside which was a big plus. The beach was great and we were able to see the whales everyday from our villa or when sitting by the pool. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning in the future.
