    Nice rooms and beach view but ...............

    First of all the arrival experience is strange, driving up a ramp from which you can see the service areas such as loading ramps and back of the house stuff you arrive at the so called reception which is a dark narrow and strangely laid out building ..... the desks are hiiden in dark recessed corners that does not give you a free view of the person that is supposed to receive you. Pilars within make this even more weird. We had to change room once as we where assigned a different room typ of what we had reserved, lunch on the first day was ok, the staff is not really interested in you so service is a drag, food was ok but for the supposedly 5 star property price levels rather on the poor side .............. we have only being using brakfast after this. The highlite was when a local friend wanted to pick us up and was refused entrance to the compound because we could not be found and confirm that he should be let in ??? we where waiting for him in the Lobby, no one approached us or checked if we where the party that was supposed to be picked up ............it took 30 min and several phone calls to convince the security that only spoke broken english to let him pass ........obviously he wasnt very happy about that and did not have good things to say about the way he was treated ................ this should not happen in aHotel of this supposed level. We will not recommend this place as no one even bothered to talk to us or offer an apology .........no Manager in sight .......... overall a weird experience.

    This is the best place we have stayed at in cabo It is quiet and safe also If you are a couple then ask for the first building if you have children then ask for number 2 the resort has a recreaction director and he is so good with the children I took my whole family last spring and all the grandkids and they all want to go back they loved it so much

    Hacienda Encantada is a total scam. They do not honor what is promised to guest, they are absolutely rude and unapologetic of their own mistakes, they take no ownership of their employees and their mistakes, and flat out REFUSE to help their guests. DO NOT STAY HERE. I initially booked this hotel for 4 nights including an all inclusive package for 4 adults and 1 child. It was advertised as 60% off it’s original price and so I thought “awesome deal!!” And booked it. I called 10 days prior to my arrival to request a crib, ask about parking, and to confirm my reservation with all inclusive and was told by Ana one of the front desk reception people. She CONFIRMED my reservation as all inclusive at that time. Upon check in, I realize I’m not given the all inclusive bracelets like the other guest. When asked, I was told that I didn’t have the all inclusive as part of my prepared reservation. I said that must be a mistake because when I booked, it was for all inclusive with 60% off and when I called to confirmed, it was confirmed. After going back and forth for 3 hours with Ana (front desk), her supervisor (didn’t get her name), and Joel the room manager, they REDUSED to honor my reservation and denied any phone call that occurred. EVEN THOUGH they have on record that I called and requested the crib in our room. Joel then proceeds to call me a liar and ensue that I am trying to scam them out of an all inclusive plan that was not apart of my room rate. Never in my life have I ever dealt with anyone in hospitality so INHOSPITABLE. They refuse to take any action for their mistakes and cheat their customers and guests. DO NOT STAY HERE. Multiple people on staff from restaurants to grounds people have been rude to us even during the brief 6 hours we’ve been here.

    We tip those who especially help in addition to daily room tip amount. Housekeepers do an excellent job and care about the rooms. Ground keepers also do great work and are probably not recognized enough.All the behind staff make this resort a great place to stay and it is beautifull.

    Gorgeous location, service and food at the adult pool top notch. Amazing to sit overlooking the ocean and see the whales go by. Restaurants are all fabulous. Food is awesome. Views from everywhere are perfect. Very clean and friendly staff. 10/10 for us!
