This isn’t a Sandles resort so don’t be expecting such. Ignore these unnecessary negative reviews from people who clearly had extremely high expectations and have a sense of entitlement. Spend 5-6 k for one of the higher end resorts and these negative nancys will still find fault so ignore it. We have been here many many times and we will continue to come here. To us this is a 5 star resort. You can’t beat the intimacy and friendliness of all who work here. From Victor the GM, to Andrei the front desk manager, to Renee H in the dining room, to Jerome the Best Bell Boy ever, to Antoneil at the Al a crate, to Merrick the main Chef, Andrei at the coffee bar-this place offers nothing but warmth, respect and acknowledgment. Security, maintenance ….. it doesn’t matter who, they are warm and loving people. They know us by name, they treat us like family and never forget us. Even after a 4 year hiatus. It’s clean, the food hot and plentiful, the drinks cold and plentiful and there is never a problem, always a solution. They are making some advancement in upgrades in the future. We can expect electronic doors and upgraded out door furniture. Amongst other things. There is no resort and we have been to many! That doesn’t have issues here and there, so if you don’t go looking for stuff to whine about you should truly enjoy and appreciate what this resort and all the people who work here (very hard and in extreme heat I may add) have to offer. This is a smaller resort, which is perfect and intimate. Go, enjoy, take the time to get know them, and understand that they work harder in a 12 hour shift then we do in a week! Treat them kindly, speak to them nicely and don’t be afraid to tip- they work for it and deserve it! Can’t wait to go back. Love them to pieces - family- one love ??

Horrible experience and I not only do not recommend, I discourage. The pictures of this hotel and description are extremely generous in terms of perception. Check-in was a circus and the staff not very communicative on what the delays were - - which eventually could be observed due to late and slow housekeeping. The housekeeping was horrible. We often did not get clean towels and the rooms were not cleaned. Bedsheets were missing on one bed initially. One housekeeper told me they were behind on laundry. Which lasted all week/was perpetual. Hot water was iffy... The sister resort (Montego) right next door apparently had more inconsistency than the Cornwall. The service and attitude of the staff was ok - but there was never any urgency or extra help/attention paid to issues or questions. The food was the only part of the experience that was adequate. Get to the buffet early for warm food. The drinks were marginal. No top shelf liquor, just local stuff that was not great.

Hotel … location is great, 5 mins from airport, amazing sunsets, all rooms are sea view , great beach, good bit of snorkelling. Bedrooms spacious & clean however “towel shortage & need bath mats “ Staff are friendly & helpful however feel just slightly understaffed in bars & restaurant, constantly running short of beer & Diet Coke “we don’t drink shorts” so a tad annoying. Food ????? could be better (but we didn’t go hungry) Evening entertainment was pleasant This is a good simple hotel, feels comfortable, staff are friendly & with a few minor (& easily implemented) adjustments it could be a great hotel. They have a great team of staff but with a couple more in each department it would function better. Would we go again ? Probably yes, our opinion changed over the days from mmmmm to we feel comfortable (which is a good thing) 7 out of 10 but could easily be made a 9

Was disappointed that there was no hot tubs. Our shower had no shelf to put the bar of soap .. it just felt cheap. and our bathroom room flooded with every shower. Only 3 pillows for 3 people. Thin comforter bring extra blanket. Only one dining option that is hard to get in to ..and does not feel like an actual restaurant dining experience because they forget half of your food and drinks (mexico dining was 1000 times better) . I can say the beach was great and ginger the resort cat was the cutest. but i def will not be returning to jamaica. This was my second time and i was not impressed neither time. P.s. If you dont like being hassled to buy weed multiple times a day then its not the place for you.

The room was very clean and the bed linen and pillow were fresh and clean. The food was very tasty and a variety of offerings were available. The use of local Jamaican cuisine as well as from cultures were available. The nightly entertainment was excellent, Each night there was a different entertainmet package, A must see is the Fusion Dancers, the Steel Pan group who who were very energetic and played a variety of different genres of music ?? and ?? ??. I only wish more of the guests on property would have come out to witness the spectacular performances which had us rocking and singing and dancing along with the performers.
