I had made some reservations for Christmas week for my daughter and her family online. For various reasons the two reservations were a disaster as booked. Since I was staying at the Harbourside, I decided the visit the Royal to get it resolved. The Angel (Alexanderia Fynes) that assisted me went way, way, way out of her way to solve my problems. It took her almost 1 hour dealing with Marriott Bonvoy reservations to finally resolve the issues. Now when my daughter arrives during Christmas week, she should just be able to enjoy her vacation! Thank you Alexanderia Fynes. The Atlantis is fortunate to have you as a caring team member.

TLDR: I would’ve been better off taking a vacation in my bathtub. Pros: - Food was edible - Not that crowded - Ocean water is nice - Pools were clean - Aquarium had some cool fish Cons: - Most of the workers seem lazy, unfriendly, and tired - There are some parts where there is garbage (cabinets, wood, tires, etc) floating around. Not due to pollution but due to maintenance not caring - Weird algae smell around the whole place - A lot of the tubes in the water park are low on pressure which doesn’t mix well when you are trying to go down a tube slide and getting bumped into the rocks - Half of the restaurants were closed - Some of the slides were closed

They are over rated I had no hot water and was told I could only take a shower in another room and then return back to the room I was placed in Construction was being done so we heard lots of banging and the entire floor smelled of tar. Management is horrible...I was not happy because I came to enjoy my 50th Birthday...The food is exspensive and gross the jacuzzi was broke you could not swim with the sharks so.ething which was advertised.

Atlantis is beautiful, but be ready to open up your wallet cause expensive is not even the word for it... dinner buffet for 2 $138.00, breakfast buffet for 2 $ 76.00. Drinks are crazy too. But we found a great place across the street called Anthony's which the price was great. And the they have a happy hr. So check that out. The resort itself is great , the staff we're some if the best we've had. I hope we get a chance to visit again.

It's a casino with a bolt on budget hotel! Does have a great water park to be fair!

Luxury prices, average accommodation, dodgy pricing structure and shady business practices. Just in general this feels like a fallen empire, the beach is littered with plastic straws & bottles, everything on the resort is eye wateringly expensive and they have next to no healthy options. I know we were there out of season but even just finding out what restaurants are open is a challenge, if you don't get the flier from reception which comes out in the morning then you have no idea where you can/can't eat. Attended recently for a conference booked over the phone and had to ask repeatedly for a booking confirmation, asked several times for details of the price of the stay... checked out, paid for my stay and was charged a susbequent $900 because I had a guest. We enjoyed the Bahamas and the people there were great but make no mistake the Atlantis is not a luxury report, it is a profit driven casino. If you are willing to gamble it sounds like you may get a deal, if you're there for a holiday I would suggest going elsewhere, it's just not work it.
