We stayed here on our trip. The pool is amazing and clean. The rooms are dirty and you have to go to the desk to trade in your towels when you need them. Most of the time they don’t have any. The lady at the front desk was mean and not friendly at all. The pool closes hours before the sign says. The fans and tvs didn’t work in our room and As I said, the rooms were pretty dirty. The hotel is in a great location and the pool and hot tub were great. There weren’t many people staying there so we had the pool area to ourselves and they did require people to be socially distant and wear masks in the office which was great.

Would never stay here ever again even if it was the only option.

We went for just a place to nap & shower, But we could barely do that! We got an outdated room which probably wasn't even cleaned because we found a beer bottle cap in one of the sheets, There was no hot water in our 1st room, Gross carpet, An old box tv, and we couldn't get our air conditioning off in our 1st room so we had to cover it with a blanket, Would have rather been sleeping in the car! What a waste of money this terrible place was, And they wanted to charge us a resort fee on top of our room fee (which we avoided paying by saying we weren't going to use the pool or anything) I feel if you REALLY want a pool, Just go somewhere else, If the rooms were gross, I can't imagine how gross the pools are.

You get what you pay for, from the outside this place looks great, but when you go into the rooms it’s a total different story. The location of the hotel is great but it’s too bad that the rooms are not updated. I check out the next day and the girl in the front was great, no issues she understood my concerns. Even though the rates are cheap the hotel definitely needs to update their rooms and the place will be a great place to stay.

My recent stay at the Seralago Hotel and Suites was absolutely incredible. I was nervous about my stay after reading some undesirable reviews but was desperate for a place to stay and was able to secure an affordable last-minute rate. Upon arriving, I was pleasantly surprised by the location. Not only is the hotel accessible to all of the Orlando and Kississimee metropolitan areas, but it was surrounded by an abundance of transit opportunities. Busses 55 and 56 lead to the Lynx Kississimee Intermodal Station, and they stop all along Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. You definitely do not need a car for your visit, as long as you have the time and patience to navigate the Lynx transportation system. It is very affordable, with my weekly pass only costing eight United States dollars. I arrived fairly late in the evening and was still awaiting the processing of my reservation. I took the time to become acquainted with the vibrant local area, where there was an abundance of shops, dining, and attractions. There are plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants all within walking distance, and most are open twenty-four hours a day. This is convenient for travelers or anybody looking for a late-night snack or meal. Soon, I was able to check-in. The process was seamless and the staff members that checked me in were all very professional, compassionate, and welcoming. They were also able to offer me a variety of discounts and promotions for my trip. The lobby boasts a convenient attractions desk where you can purchase tickets and organize excursions. It also features an expansive arcade, perfect for families. There is also a food court, which was unfortunately closed during my visit. It is also worth mentioning that I paid a nominal resort fee at check-in. I heard many fellow guests complaining about this fee in light of the current health situations and the unavailability of many amenities at the hotel. At a little over five dollars per day, I found the nominal fee to be fair considering the availability of all 5 pools and spas and beach volleyball courses. Despite this additional fee, the Seralago was the most affordable hotel in the entire state of Florida for my dates. The base rate of my room was a mere twenty-one dollar per night. As I began my walk from the lobby to my room, which was room 966, located in a tower on the perimeter of the property, I noticed just how expansive this property is. There are nearly 700 rooms at the Seralago, and it was sold out most nights during my stay. I was surprised to see that despite the apparent age of the hotel, everything was in functioning condition. Each tower boasts vending and ice machines, and the second cluster of rooms houses the beach volleyball court and laundry room. The 900's are fairly disconnected from the rest of the hotel, and there is no direct walkway connecting them to the main cluster of rooms and lobby areas, meaning you have to cross the parking lot. Obviously, if you have a car, this is no problem as you can park directly in front of your room if you are on the ground floor. However, this was not the case for me, as I did not have a car. Therefore, I had to cross the flooded parking lot late at night. Once I did arrive at my room, I was greeted by the extremely dated decor and furnishings. However, the room was immaculately clean, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. There were plenty of towels as well. The bathroom was also clean and all of the fixtures were operational. I had some difficulty with my television, and later on during my stay with the toilet, however, both times my concerns were addressed promptly and properly by maintenance. No daily housekeeping is offered, however, additional towels, linens, and toiletries are available at the front desk should you necessitate them. The room also boasted a microwave and mini-fridge. Both were operational and marginally clean. The air-conditioning unit worked exceptionally well and the filter was clean. This was a commonplace, yet much appreciated amenity amidst the Florida heat and humidity! Now, more about the amenities the Seralago offers, as I mentioned previously, none of the restaurants are open due to the pandemic, which is so unfortunate as they all looked very inviting and would definitely liven up the atmosphere a bit. All of the pool areas were absolutely stunning and a perfect place to relax. The volleyball course was lovely, and the laundry facilities were convenient to have access to. It is also worth noting that COVID-19 testing is available just a ten-minute walk west on Irlo Bronson Highway. This is ideal for travelers. The hotel still boasts theme park shuttles that run on a regular schedule. While I did not take advantage of them, such an amenity definitely goes a long way, especially for families. Now, more on COVID-19, I felt adequately safe staying at the Seralago. Social distance markers were located in common areas and all staff wore face masks. Since all of the rooms are accessed by exterior corridors, many guests went about freely without wearing a face mask, which was to be expected considering the outdoor locality of the rooms. The fitness center is also closed, which was unfortunate. Overall, the Seralago is a great place to stay for travelers on a budget. It boasts a convenient location, and at a time, boasted amenities on par with much more established resorts in the area. For the price, the value was unbeatable. I enjoyed my stay, and have already booked a second stay in the Springtime. While I wish more amenities were and will be available, their closure is understandable considering these unprecedented times. If you can afford a better hotel and wish for a posher experience, partake in that opportunity. However, for many not looking to empty their savings for a vacation, this an extremely viable option. I look forward to returning soon!
