    What a place to relax. Even with covid changes - wonderful experience. Only down side is issues with getting services at the pool - food and towels. Hopefully that is just a kink in working at post-COVID stuff. Would return.

    Extremely late/delayed check in. No extra pillows. Pool was overcrowded. Personal belongings were removed from chairs and thrown away. I could go on and on.... I would highly suggest looking at other options

    First Post Pandemic Trip

    This is a solid hotel with lots of amenities. It was totally sold out during our trip and a few things were lacking. It is a nicely designed facility with a huge open area when you walk in the main entrance. The pool was really overcrowded and often lacked towels. Staff were extremely professional and well trained. My only real criticism is that they were not doing daily cleaning (which is understandable due to the pandemic) but still charged a resort fee which did not make sense. I will Never understand why they charge a separate fee for something that is NOT optional. I was glad to be away after 14 months locked down!

    Great aesthetics, good food options, water features were amazing, and endless amounts of activities for the kids. We'll definitely be back! The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and how to get the most out of our time spent there.

    A few major issues....

    Me and my family stayed at Gainey Ranch a week ago for 5 days. The hotel grounds were really nice. We stayed in the Palm Suite which was very awkwardly set up. The main tv was in front of the couch , and a second tv was 4 feet away in front of the bed, which was wide open in the room. If someone was watching tv from the couch , you couldnt watch the other tv from the bed because they were too close to each other....weird. Now here is this hotel’s major issue which went totally ignored by the hotel and staff.. The pool was beautiful , BUT , now keep in mind this happened to us and multiple guests EVERY single day there, the pool chairs were completely gone by 6:45am !!! They were gone because this hotel allows people to just put a towel on a chair to save it. Every morning the same ‘karen’ type women would be down at the pool at 6am with old towels from the day before and claim multiple rows of chairs every morning and not even use the chairs they saved !!! This was a ‘these are all my mine’ type behavior. We notified the pool staff that this is ridiculous this early in the am not having chairs available . They said unattended chairs after an hour would be cleared off , But... “we really dont enforce it.” Obviously...Also 3 of the 5 days there no pool towels were available to guest until well after noon. No towels at the pool?? Unacceptable , for a hotel that charges $$$ per night...Otherwise the area was fantastic , weather was great. But our next visit will be at a different hotel. I rated it two stars because for the money spent at this hotel issues like this is nonsense should not happen.
