    Quiet, clean, perfect little getaway

This is a GREAT little family resort. Quiet, but fun. Small, but enjoyable. Great villas and great staff. We were two women on a quick getaway, and we stayed in a one bedroom Signature Suite. As our first venture away since COVID, we felt safe and that the staff took things seriously. Every staff member was masked, and we saw cleaning and sanitizing being done on a regular basis. The public facilities are small but ample, 4 pools, one of which was a family pool with slides, etc. The other pools are small and quieter, though kids are welcome at all of them. I never felt like the kids infringed on my enjoyment as I read or talked with my companion. A small note: the music they played was the perfect volume! Loud enough you could hear it, but not so obtrusive you had to yell over it or not be able to read your pool-side book/ trashy mag! Remember, this is a time-share resort, and doesn't have full service "resort" amenities (no pool-side service, daily house-cleaning, spa), but it makes up for it in other ways, as it is very reasonable and very comfortable. I was able to brink my own drinks down from the condo (and didn't have to pay $15 for a weak drink), and the bar/restaurant was 20 yards away. It's quiet and relaxing, a real home away from home. I was NOT hounded for a presentation. We very much enjoyed the on-site restaurant/bar! However, having it closed on Wed. and Thur. was a bummer. (We're looking forward to returning when it's open full-time post COVID. That was the only "disappointment" we had--though it was understood.) Perhaps just keeping the Marketplace open would be an option since there really isn't any place close by to buy food, etc. Even extend their offerings to include some staples? Without a car, we were a bit limited. We were two adults, so didn't mind walking to restaurants/Whole Foods (~ 1 mile), but a family would have more trouble, especially in the AZ heat! One night we Uber-ed to a restaurant ($6) and walked home! Anthony at the bar/restaurant on site (ArteZania) was GREAT! Not only were the food and drinks very good, he recommended how we could maximize the food opportunities even with the days the restaurant would be closed (i.e. order extra chips and salsa to have by the pool the next day; order the salad with dressing/toppings separate to stay fresh for another day). He also was very friendly and gave great drink suggestions! Rebecca at check-in/out was very helpful and gracious. She was able to grant an extended check out as our flight was leaving later than we anticipated, which allowed us more time by the pool!

We met 10 family members there, that's where they wanted to go. Didn't realize it was time share set-up. Nice place, great staff. We are used to normal resorts, you know restaurants, room service, maids daily ect. At check-in they tried the sale pitch, we cut that short, didn't get informed about property at all. The pools had scum around the edges, lawn chairs at pool were dirty, air vent in bathroom had that funky fuzz in it, the coffee pot was from the 70s, you know the bag filter you can't find at any store, the coffee it self was worst I ever had, refused to drink it, only place to dine didn't open during the week , only weekends. So we spent our money on coffee and food and drinks across the street at the Fairmont. The room had a great layout I have to say.

A nicely appointed timeshare resort located in Scottsdale near area attractions. Would recommend this resort for families and couples. Unit we stayed in was recently updated with granite counter tops, large tiled walk-in shower, bright lighting throughout, comfortable furniture. Four pools around the complex; two for families and kids; two for couples with more quiet settings.

Great April stay for MN family of 3

My family of 3 stayed here for 6 nights, and overall we were very impressed! There was a $135.66 fee since we only booked 6 nights instead of 7, so I did overlook that fee notice on the RCI website. We were given a ground floor unit which was actually somewhat underground without much of a view, but my husband was able to request a new unit and we were given a 2nd floor villa. Very spacious and well stocked! Although, you could bring some extra laundry detergent if you want to do more than 3 loads. We could definitely hear our neighbors and specifically their TV at night. I think the layout is that the living room TV is directly on the other side of the next unit's master bedroom. Our villa was by the Serenity Pool and we enjoyed it and the hot tub so much that we never used the pool with the water slides! The resort isn't really within walking distance of much, so I'm glad we had our rental car. My one complaint was the lack of blankets in oir villa. I think they may have forgot comforters all together for us, but I never did call to ask. We used the spare bedding in the pull out couch pack and managed to get by, but my son and I love our blankets and had to make do with basically a couple of sheets and 1 lightweight white blanket. Great stay overall! :)

    Nice Resort & Good Location

This resort currently has a Covid check-in process. A greeter is located outside the lobby to take your name and then you are asked to wait in your car. This is to limit the number of people in the lobby for check-in. The staff was friendly and helpful on check in. This resort puts a sticker on your unit door to confirm that it was properly cleaned prior to your arrival. (See attached picture). We stayed in a Signature Collection Reserve two bedroom unit. Each building, which is a called Casita, has three floors. First floor units are more like a garden unit because they are located seven steps down. There is a step-up threshold into this unit. (See attached picture). None of the buildings/Casitas have an elevator. The unit was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware. There is an espresso/coffee combo machine and a small wine/beverage refrigerator as a bonus. The spare bathroom has a walk-in shower while the master bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. There is a full size washer/dryer. There is a safe in the room that can fit a laptop. Free unsecured WiFi is offered but the connection was spotty. We found the best place in the unit to get a strong signal was in the master bedroom. There are four pools and all of them were open. There are two community grilling station and Market Place. ArteZania Kitchen and Cantina is their restaurant with both indoor/outdoor seating. There is a workout center that had limited access due to Covid and an activity center. This is a nice resort and if we are in the area again we would stay here. We would choose a third floor unit to hopefully get more natural light plus we wouldn’t have a unit above us. We would have to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs but that is the trade off. Personal notes about property: The garden first floor unit did not offer a lot of natural light. The window treatments include a drape and sheer curtain. The sheer curtain allows light in but also gives people walking down the path the ability to see into your unit. I wish they would have chosen a window treatment that allowed natural light in but gave you privacy. The second and third floor units don’t have this issue as much. We also heard the people in the unit above us walking around. We did learn that buildings 13 and 14, by the Splash Canyon Pool, are only 2 stories and accessible. There are also handicapped parking spaces by these two buildings. None of the televisions are smart TV’s so you can’t logged into your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc., accounts. The television in the living area is wall mounted so you can’t plug in a Roku. Both bedroom televisions do allow you to plug in a Roku. This resort is located near several dining options including our favorite, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant (1.5 miles away). One mile away is the Scottsdale Sports Complex which has a multi used outdoor path, basketball court and shaded playground. Old Town Scottsdale is 10 miles away. A CVS is 1.5 miles away. A Safeway Grocery Store is 9.5 miles away. Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is 7.3 miles away (Temporarily closed). The hotel offered a list of local attractions which was very helpful. It is about a 30-40 minute drive from the Sky Harbor Airport.
