    The wait staff was super. Tito (Royal level) was genuine and greeted us with a smile every morning. Claudia made every breakfast delicious. Fernando (aka Peewee) at the pool bar went out of his way to be awesome to everyone. I am sure because of Covid19, management was working harder than usual, but I feel they could have been more polite to their guests.

    Excellent service!! My parents are members of the Occidental club and we have spent a week in many of their destinations on multiple Occasions. This time We spent 7 days at Occidental Nuevo Vallarta, where the health and safety precautions were excellent. Hotel was at very low capacity and extremely clean. The best experience was the top notch service of the waiting and Barman staff at the upstairs royal level club and pool. I want to specially point out the exceptional service provided by Juanito, Alberto, Tito, Julio, Andres and Agustin, they were kind, smily, so attentive and always had a fun conversation with us. Just for their excellent service i would absolutely come back and recommend to others.

    Victor Lopez lifeguard Occidental Hotel. Here my Wife and I met Victor the lifeguard who kept a safe environment and the beach safe. He was very pleasant and helped us feel welcome! I love coming to Occidental at Nuevo Vallarta and Victor especially was an exceptional staff!

    This was our second stay at the hotel, the service is excellent! We upgraded our trip to the "Royal level" and had a great experience. Ulises (VIP pool bartender) and Rene ( National drinks bartender) were beyond expectations always being kind and offering higher than expected beverages. Paola at at VIP lobby was excellent too being patient and solving any of our concerns. It is an excellent hotel to which we will definitely come back.

    This was our first time visiting this beautiful location. We had plan an ONLY couples get away for a while way before the pandemic, and luckily this resort was open to keep our plans and have fun. The costumer service was amazing by most associates. They made our stay extra special. We had some special request and our server Michael went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was very attentive and always greeted our party of eight with a great attitude, whether it was at the Tokio restaurant, at Los Olivos or at the Mariachis location. Fernando Garcia also stood out from the crowd. His costumer service was on point as a server at the restaurant or at the bar. He made special drinks for our party and was very effective at his job. We spent a lot of time at the pool bar as well as at the lobby bar. Hector Flores, one of the bartenders at the pool took really good care of us. He was super friendly and went above and beyond with our drink demands. Another bartender who deserves recognition is Rene. I can't remember his last name but he dealt with on Saturday 29th at the Lobby Bar until they closed. Rene, Veronica and Flor Cruz were very attentive with our party and I thank them all for their attention and services. Unfortunately, there were some associates who need to work on their costumer service. On our last day (September 1st) we approached the front desk and talk to a woman who had been working overnight. We wanted a late check out because our flight to come back home departed at 7pm. She was not very polite and provided no options for our request, she said to come back at 9:00am and talk to the manager. The manager was Lennon Torres, or at least that was the name he gave us. As we asked again for late check out or at least to keep one room, or a place to shower before we left, he was rude and gave us no options. In my opinion, he could have done more than what he did for the guest. Luckily I requested to talk to the Operations Manager. Eliana Zamora was working that morning. She was very understanding and I we explained what had happened, she gave us some options. We were able to keep one of the four rooms to shower before our departure. In doing so, we were able to enjoy our last hours at the pool, bar and the restaurant. We want to thank all the associates who made our stay a memorable. Thank you for your services and attentions. God willing, we will be back in the future.
