    Wow much hotter this time of year. Had bug bites for the first time ever while down south. No one else in our group of 4 had this issue. Lots of families this time of year, made me realize this hotel is great for young families. The beach here is deep with white sand, a beach bar on both sides of the resort & a snack bar right on the beach on 1 side. The waves are great, lots of fun. 3 pools to choose from, 1 has a swim up bar. The main pool has a shallow side pool & a jetted pool (not hot) to the side. Foam party on Friday afternoons. Purchased upgrade each time, VIP is well worth the $. Premium liquor, Budwiser beer, larger room, 2 massages & extra a la carte dinner. The rooms are tired, but everything worked, when a door lock on my sisters stopped working they came right away & solved the problem, dead battery. Should you be lucky enough to get Maria for your maid, she will make you feel so welcomed. Bring lots of small bills, really hard to get larger bills broken down here. The tips are very appreciated, I got my biggest smiles from the omlette guy each day, only tipped him twice. The grounds are beautiful, lots of staff around. Not 5 star, but not priced as that.

    Good Hotel Hap Hazard service

    We booked this hotel through TUI about 6 weeks before our departure, we got a very good deal for 2 weeks all inclusive. On arriving we were impressed with check in which was quick and efficient, we were taken to our room with our luggage by a bell boy who bought our cases up to the room. Rooms are a little dated but perfectly acceptable, and plenty of hot water available., although some if the sheets and blankets were a bit threadbare and worn, we had to change rooms as there was a leak in our bathroom and the blankets on the beds in our new room, we removed from the beds as I am sure they contributed to the number of mosquito bites we suffered from. The grounds, pools and the beach area are very good all kept nice and clean and tidy. Food is buffet style in the main restaurant, with other restaurants available to book, we only ate at the Brazilian restaurant which was very good., the food in the buffet restaurant is typical of what you get in the Caribbean, breakfasts were ok with eggs freshly cooked for you, other than that everything else was pre cooked and not very good. At lunchtime we ate in the snack bar by the beach as the food was much better, at dinner very little food was freshly cooked apart from pasta which was good, most of the other food was pre cooked, and items were sitting on the hot grills, with no idea how long they had been there, also a lot of the food was not very hot at all. The service in this restaurant was very hap hazard to say the least, once you found a table you would sometimes find at breakfast there were no cups and saucers for tea coffee, if you got them then there would be no teaspoons, same at lunch and dinner, you would get water sometimes, or asked if you wanted a drink or not, and very often the drinks did not arrive, in the end we accepted it if we had water or drinks with our meals or we didn’t., most of the staff just wandered round or stood chatting to one another, rather than looking after guests. The worst example was we ate dinner late one night, and whilst we we finishing our meal the tables for breakfast were being laid, a waitress came to our table removed the cutlery and table cloth, despite us telling her we hadn’t finished she just carried on, we left our drinks and walked out. The service from all the staff in the snack bar was totally different, all of them were friendly, helpful, in particular Antonio, De La Paz, Sebastian and Jayni (?). Food here was good as well, and you could sit and eat on the beach which we did most days. Silly little things let the hotel down, not getting the right towels in your room, and trying to get extra towels was difficult, you could phone reception, and go to reception and still it didn’t get sorted out., and the poor service in the main restaurant. I understand this is not a 5 star hotel but basic customer service should be standard at all hotels regardless of their star rating and cost. If the service and the food in the buffet restaurant, was improved this would make this hotel so much better., if we had paid the full brochure price then I would have been very disappointed with the hotel, the food and the service. One last point, we were plagued by mosquitoes whilst there as the cost of spray and creams in the hotel shops was scandalous., so make sure you have plenty of sprays and creams with you.

    Me and my partner have just got home and we loved every minute of our holiday the al a carte restaurants were so nice. Great weather great staff they was all so friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. This holiday made our 50th birthday the best and met some lovely people

    I would like to say, that this being our 15th visit at Caribe Club Princess, it has been another memorable vacation. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary here and the Staff made sure to make it a very Special Day !! My husband and I keep returning to Caribe Club Princess because of the people that work here. They have become like our second Family.. The warm welcome from everyone is just amazing. The animation team is amazing, they work so hard to make sure everyone is having a good time. A thank you to Winni for making sure that we were happy during our stay. Another big Thank You to Federico and Alberto. Hope to return before the Renovation

    Employees make you feel like home. Special thanks to Mauro, one of the advisors that was so helpful and kind. Also the bartenders Wally and Joel they took our trip to another level of joy and fun. Food was exquisite, they have a lot of choices but my favorite was de Chinese restaurant. Also rooms and facilities really clean and comfy.
