Great stay and well located

Lovely hotel with great amenities only thing I was surprised by was parking not being free for customers. It’s already an expensive stay and to add 50$ a night wasn’t fun to learn upon arrival.

Perfection

This hotel is what I expect from a Fairmont. It was very busy, even in April, which we thought was off season. We found there is no off season at the Le Chateau Frontenac but the service was still impeccable. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The location can't be beat. It is an old hotel but charming and well maintained. We had a Superior King with river view. Took several tours offered by the hotel and they were wonderful. Ate at Le Champlain. It took four hours but was a special experience. Ate at the bar and restaurant on site. Everything was perfection. Shopping in the hotel was great. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the hotel vicinity as well. We will definitely return.

Horrible customer service - do not rebook !!

Stay away from pre booking. They do not offer a refund of cancelling a week in advance. They want a pre booking to not have to refund the room We can’t go as my son’s camp is no longer offered and they will not refund. The cancellation policy is in the paperwork after you pay. That they email. Just avoid this place and use a hotel that offers a cancellation policy

Could be better

It is a beautiful hotel with a great location but its popularity draws crowds and tours to the lobby which makes it nearly impossible for guests to relax in lobby. Also front door staff completely inattentive...no help upon entering with luggage or throughout stay. Not a 5 star experience.

Excellent Hotel Experience

This hotel is historic and beautiful. Every detail clearly is important and staff make you feel like a VIP. Food selection and shopping within hotel are fabulous, as well as being in a perfect spot to explore the town. Staff are attentive and friendly and not speaking French well was no problem! We will definitely be back10/10
