    Amazing trip!

I can't recommend this resort enough.. we had a great time! Everything was very clean and the staff was so friendly. Given Covid, it wasn't over the top lively but we preferred that, because it made the trip nice and relaxing. The room service is good for mornings/nights when you don't want to make the trip to the buffet or one of the restaurants. We had one of the swim out rooms -- it was nice to have the option to easily access the pool. There was plenty of waiters so you could get a drink from just about anywhere in the pool. The walk to the beach is very short and there's a bar on the beach as well. Will definitely be returning!

The property was very pretty at first glance. However, it wasn't as clean as it could have been nor should have been in light of COVID. The sheets on the pool beds were never changed nor even brushed off at the end of the day - yet alone between guests. There were discarded cups and drink garnish left poolside during our entire 7-day stay without being cleaned up. There was no wait staff around the open pool to take drinks forcing guests to either get into the pool to access the swim-up bar or walk across the courtyard to the 24-hr bar. There was drink service if you were on the beach. Half of the resort amenities were closed due to COVID, which is understandable. However, guests were given rooms on the closed side of the resort. We had a swim-out room but that pool and pool bar was closed so we barely even used the room amenities we paid for. While there are a lot of dining options, again most were closed due to COVID and opened on a rotating basis. We were given the option to make reservations at the sister resort restaurants so we were able to dine at a different place each night. Our experience at MISO left a lot to be desired. The fish was spoiled and the vegetables were brown when it was brought out to the table. The other dining options were hit or miss in regards to taste and personal preference. Mexico recently legalized the use of marijuana and while we respect everyone's personal choice it was a bit much when guests would in common areas or in the pool. A designated smoking section for both marijuana and cigarettes would be a nice touch! Other minor things to note: - The pool closed extremely early - 8PM - for an Adult-Only resort. Yes, the pool should be cleaned each night but 11PM would be a more acceptable time. - The entertainment was fine, but again ended very early and we found ourselves with nothing to do past 10PM. - The TV in the room did not receive any channels so once everything was closed; we were literally forced to go to bed. - The mini bar was only stocked with 2 beers per day; and even though we requested diet soft drinks each day they were never placed in the mini bar.

My husband and I went to this resort for 7 days to celebrate our late anniversary (COVID). We got the deluxe swim out room. The pool was beautiful and the people were alot of fun. However, the bed was too hard for my hips and had asked if we could get additional cushion (extra comforters) and never received them. I had to make the request twice, and then the 3rd night I just called to get extra blankets. Our key wouldn't work after noon for 4 days in a row. It was daunting to have to deal with it daily. The food was OK and having been to the area before, I wasn't expecting the best. It was nice to have variety with the Grans Princess being there. Overall, we had fun with people we meet and the staff. It was still enjoyable but not anything to rave over. Also the COVID test appointment request was a hassle and we finally got our appointments a day before we had to leave. Thankfully the results didn't' take long to get back. Just some stress to get it booked in time.

Carefull of the fraudulent receptionists. The pressured me into "blocking" the same amount which i already paid on my credicard, or otherwise i couldn t chek it , although i already had a paid reservation.but afterwards i found out they actually took the money from my creditcard instead of blocking it as promised, so i paid double. When checking out,the men at the reception told me they could notreturn my doublepayment , unless i give them my creditcard so they can make a photocopy of both sides ! of course i wouldnt agree to this secutitybreach. So even after 6 weeks i didnt get my money back and the manager of the reception is not answering my e-mails. Rooms are nice though but smell like mould .the loud guy at the gym is useless . Yogaclasses was aömost ancelled of by the female teacher as she prefered to talk with the other entertainers than give a class to only one person. The strange fraud attempt and the doublepayment ruined my few days there. dinner is good and the waiters have perfect manners.

Could have been so much better...

COVID is hitting them hard; we returned tonight from 5 nights and here was our experience..... The GOOD - the staff is truly amazing! Raphael at the Yucutan Buffet was an absolute pleasure! He put up with our crazy group coming in every night at midnight, ordering everything on the men and never finishing it. He went above and beyond getting us milkshakes and other things not on the menu and always did it with a smile on his face. Felix and Iveta at the pool did their best to keep people entertained and get everyone involved in activities and were super friendly. We did a beach massage for only $50/person and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. The BAD - 4 of the 6 restaurants were closed, no shops were open, main pool was closed. Our "swim-out" room still required we get out of the pool to get to the main pool bar, not a huge inconvenience but not what was expected. Our beach towels were only changed out when we hunted housekeeping down and requested it. Turndown service was hit and miss, some nights we got it, some we didn't. The sparkling wine with the VIP experience didn't actually ever get delivered and there was no water circuit access as advertised. The UGLY - With only about 100 guests the vibe was just a ghost town. Quiet and relaxing, yes, but so sad to see it that empty. The food was subpar at best and it's pretty sad that the best Mexican food we had was at Margaritaville at the airport. OVERALL - I'd like to go back when it's hopping and full and fun but this was a disappointing trip overall.
