Hotel Kabuki, part of JdV by Hyatt

A clean, well-located, modern hotel with comfortable rooms and amenities in the heart of San Francisco, I would recommend this hotel to any tourist or business person within the area. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure once COVID regulations return to normal the hotel restaurant Nari and the breakfast will make for a very enjoyable experience.

Upon check-in whilst at the front desk. 2 visibly unmasked individuals entered the hotel, conversed with the clerk and proceeded still unmasked to the elevators and assumably up to a room all while possibly carrying and spewing covid 19 via respiratory fluid on the elevator and throughout the hotel halls as they were not required to don a mask while in the building. When I inquired with the clerk if the hotel enforces state mandated Covid procedures, her snide remark was “usually”. Bottom line unsafe hotel to stay during a pandemic, extremely overpriced, albeit having a cute decor theme nestled in a quiet area

My stay went above and beyond my expectations for a pandemic hotel. They were clearly doing everything they could to make the stay comfortable while staying within gov. guidelines. The staff was also exceptionally kind and helpful.

beautiful, clean, awesome staff, lobby you want to hang out in all day, great lattes in the morning, great location, peaceful, will definitley be back! The only thing that got in the way of full enjoyment was COVID because the lobby bar- which is amazing- could not be open.

Great location, right in the center ofJapantown. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Felt very safe and you could tell that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times. Great location with plenty of great restaurants near by. The Lobby is a great place to relax and catch up on some work or have a improv photoshoot.
