Stayed at Parc 55 during a business trip to San Francisco. Really liked the hotel overall, the service, the location, the gym and more. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit tired and old, but still clean and nice. Parc 55 is a couple of blocks from Union Square in San Francisco - a great location for both business travellers and tourists. The rooms are a bit tired and worn, but they are clean, comfortable and large. The bed is very nice, providing for a good sleep, and there is ample space for work. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities. The common areas are large and nice, with both the breakfast area and the bar being quite good. The breakfast is good with plenty of options, both traditional western and some Asian options. The gym is great, with plenty of good equipment and nice views. Service is very good, pleasant and friendly. Will happily stay at Parc 55 again, and have in fact done so a couple of times already.

Overall, this hotel is dirty and out of date. No Room service which is big for me. No parking.. only Valet and bar closes at 10pm. The location of town is dirty and unsafe. I wouldn't recommend this part to families.

The location is very good, close to Market street and cable car end. The rooms are medium, a bit tired, the carpets in the halls are dirty . The staff is not very supportive, actually they "lost"our breakfast vouchers- we were a group of 23 - and they made us wait for about half hour. No porters were provided, although we had payed portage services.

This did not live up the Hilton experience or standards. I've stayed at Hampton Inn's better. Check-in took forever despite no line and the front desk agent told me I had to update my Hilton profile with a credit card on file. I only had my corporate card on me and told her I didn't want to update the profile with that as I use HHonors for personal too. She told me she had to (no, she didn't) and claimed i would have gotten alerts about it. Despite me logging into the website the day before and getting no alert. Anyway, the lobby seems modern but that is where it ends. Hallways are dark, with old carpet, and scuffed up paint everywhere in a putrid yellow color. Rooms are old, smelly and the windows are so thin it's like they are open. I could hear people talking on the street and I was on the 11th floor. Every surface was sticky in the room. I just didn't want to touch anything. Someone also had let their dog defecate all over the lobby from the stairwell to the elevator like 50 feet. Couldn't miss it..or the smell. Yet, until I told the concierge about it nothing was done. There is no one outside to help with securing taxi's or luggage. The bellmen stand inside 50 feet away from the door. Only bright spot was the gym was huge with tons of equipment and machines. All good quality and lots of room.

    OK Stay in San Francisco

The Parc 55 Hilton is an OK hotel. The location is great - super close to Market Street, which I love to walk when I'm in SF. The rooms are fresh, but are just a tad tired. It's not a big deal, but you can tell based on the size/layout of the bathrooms and the carpet in the rooms. Depending on where your window faces, you might be able to hear everything happening on the street below (hint: check the fresh air vent at the base of the windows!). Staff is kind and helpful, food in the hotel is fine. Overall good stay.
