The manager might be the saddest excuse of a manager. Jovanny was his name and he simply does not care about customer service in the least! The entire resort is understaffed. The servers, the bartenders (1 bartender per bar) and the behind the scenes staff as the buffet always ran out of plates and cutlery. The entire trip we felt like when we needed to ask for something (like a glass for water or a fork) we were a pain! The pools were gross … especially the kids one! The octopus slide stairs get so hot in the day time it burns the kids feet. We watched multiple kids burst into tears trying to climb it. Save your money and avoid this resort!

A very great venue! Close to the airport is an understatement! But it’s cool watching (and hearing) the planes land and take off. Staff is pleasant in general. Spa staff is excellent. Restaurant staff is as well. Beautiful property with various pool options. The 4th floor rooftop is great at night. Area offsite is walkable with lots of recommended dining, nightlife and shopping options. The AC wasn’t the best but they worked it out. They have top shelf liquor options at the bar. Room liquor is decent. You have access to the connecting property so that’s a plus.

Paradise on earth! The resort is breathtaking-the staff is incredible-food is delicious-so many options, never get bored! We had butler swim-out sunset suite-arguably one of the best rooms in the resort and our butler, Ranjeet, made this the best trip we had ever had! Ranjeet made us feel like family-he brings a true honor and nobility to his service and we were so so grateful to have his guidance and assistance throughout our stay! Ranjeet went above and beyond for us-from hosting a private dinner for two, to arranging for the tuna we caught on our fishing trip was cooked by one of the chefs for dinner (which was absolutely fantastic)! Sonesta Ocean Point has our unqualified recommendation forever and if you are lucky enough to have Ranjeet as your butler-you can expect the vacation of a lifetime-full stop. Can't wait to go back!

I recently spent vacation at Ocean Point resort. I had fantastic time! As always. Outstanding service, attention to details, comfortable and safe environment. With great pleasure I would like to compliment and appreciate service of Shingai T.C Madhlangobe at Azul breakfast. She made my stay even more comfortable and memorable. Can't wait to come back

This was our first trip out of the US in 15 years of being together. We booked Ocean Point because it was an adults only all inclusive to celebrate our 10 year anniversary/finally taking our honeymoon...and I am so glad we did! We cannot say enough about our stay and time at the Ocean Point. It was way more than what we expected and the food is great! I have dietary restrictions (Gluten Free, not celiac/Dairy Free) and was able to eat without getting sick...which is a huge win to start with! We loved our accommodations and all the pools. The employees were amazing and super friendly/helpful. Anything we needed they were there to assist with.
