TL;DR- paid for 6 nights of additional all inclusive, had to leave on night 5, came back, and the manager (Daniel) did not want to honor my remaining 1 day of all inclusive even though, during my temporary check out, the clerk said he will put this info in the notes. Was rushed to leave property and escorted off without properly packing and telling my family good night. So, my scenario is quite unique... We booked (My wife, her sister, myself and my daughter) a "14 day quarantine period" vacation in this property for my sister in law as she was arriving from Europe. A way to be let into the United States i guess... Things were going quite well the first 5 or so days. Although, and whats unique to our scenario is, that my wife and myself were called in to work and had to fly back for a few days. Thats also no big deal, I'll eat that cost for those days and I understand those circumstances. The difference between the family and myself was that I had other plans and had only purchased 6 days of all inclusive and now I am leaving on day 5. So as we were checking out, the clerk says that "I will need your wristband for now and i will note this information as well. There is 1 all inclusive night remaining for you. The family has theirs fully paid already so i don't need your wife's wristband". Ok everything seems like its going well. Well, the problem didn't really arise until I arrived back from my other plans. It was already late, I had one night remaining, went to the room, unpacked, settled in a bit, and then proceeded to go downstairs to obtain my wristband for the last night because I needed it for when i was to leave in the morning as a checkout collateral for the security I purposes i guess. I explain everything i stated here, the clerk went to get the manager, and the manager (Daniel) would not honor the last night under no circumstances even though i already paid. Long story short, the manager escorted me to the room, which i had already paid for for those 2 weeks, so I can obtain my belongings and I could find another hotel since I was refusing to pay the extra all inclusive night... even though it was 8:30pm and almost everything was closing on the property, and I, myself, was leaving to the airport at 4:30am. Regardless what i explained to him, he refused to allow me to just go to sleep in the room i paid for already. Had to book another hotel so that way i could get some 6 hours of sleep before i leave to the airport. How does this relate to other guests? During my stay, I have heard from MANY staff members and even some regular guests that they changed management and everything got noticeably worse. Certain guests even said that they've been there MULTIPLE times (over 8) and have never seen it so bad and covid has literally nothing to do with the experiences. The only reason I did not give it a 1 star was because - the other Staff (primarily bar and servers) were really friendly. - Their kids club was a good thing for us (not unique, Most properties have one though) - Views of ocean were really nice - Great shows, my daughter loved it - The band they hire plays some great cuban like music in the bar (Not everyday though) - The internet was "Work Remotely" decent only in the business center - The restaurant food was decent. Mexican Restaurant was the best. And had it not been for this unique scenario, I would've rated the property a 3.5 and not a 5.0 because: - Absolutely Terrible AC... Almost non existent - Hard beds and very very cheap bedding (expected based on price) - their WiFi is absolutely worthless and keeps dropping, had to use my own additional hotspot to get any good internet - Overall, The buffet food was OK to say the best. Some items were pretty good though - The restaurant food was good, but you had to call in to make a reservation, and if you were late, they "filled up" even though restaurant had PLENTY of open and socially distanced seating (which all was used MUCH later) - VERY crowded property (to be expected based on price) - Lines EVERYWHERE (Expected based on price) - Drinks watered down (Expected but just tip the bartenders well and you're golden) - And do not do their vacation club... they are NEVER worth the cost (We did not and never will) - Poolside service was slow (Expected due to crowd) - They ALWAYS played techno and house music everywhere. Cool for a little bit but not ALL the time - Pool closes really early at 8pm (expected based on crowd) - Very limited late night food options - Fellow guests are quite ignorant and can be loud at early times in the morning (Like they start drinking at 6am and start that party early, this is to be expected lol) TIPS: - Maybe bring your own favorite alcohols so you don't fill up on their sugar water with a splash of vodka and/or prevent horrible hangovers from bottom shelf liquors. - The above could be avoided if you tip the Bartenders... I did $15 every other day and was set (Roger is the best bartender there) - Pool on first floor is adults only. - 2 buttons for 3 elevators. press both. their elevators are somewhat slow and lots of traffic. - Bring a YETI tumbler that way you don't have to wait in line for drink refills. Their cups are small - Call dinner reservations EARLY (at 8am) and reserve for 3 nights. Do this again the following day for your next 3 nights. OR tip the concierge and they may be able to hook you up for your entire duration - Tips to the staff are like GOLD. Use them to your advantage. That $2 or $5 will get you A LOT further than you think. - If you're working remotely, bring your own wifi hotspot SIM router - BE AT BREAKFAST EARLY!! Like when they open at 7am! you'll avoid all the crowds - Obtain your Pool towels early and claim your chairs early. LOTS of people at this property.

We had a great trip! Service was top notch. We had no problems and we are looking forward to bringing our family back again real soon. Look forward to being back without the Covid restrictions to have more access to a different variety of foods as well.

This place was a great stay. The service is 5 star from kevin and Jesus helping us with bags and showing us the facility. The service at the restaurants was good as well. the entertainment group was incredible. Angel and Robert took time to learn our kids names, engaged with them, and made our trip extra special! The service and staff were 5 stars!

The accommodations are not perfect but the location is perfect. Food can use some upgrades, but it is buffet. Staff 100% amazing. Other than food and accommodations it is a great place. I recommend booking excursions through ABNB and paying extra for private taxis etc.
