This was my first stay in Cayo Coco and I absolutely loved it!! The beach was breathtakingly beautiful and we enjoyed walks early in the morning, midday, and in the late afternoon. There’s a flat area that is more shallow at 50-75 feet from the initial beach that gives the impression of a second beach to walk on, it’s simply gorgeous. Depending on the time of the day, the water recedes and you walk on the sand directly (it’s a little hard to explain, but it was one of the highlights of our trip). So from the start: we got to the hotel and our room wasn’t ready so we got to enjoy the beach in the meantime. They were nice enough to get the room ready a little ahead of time but then I noticed that it wasn’t the same room we were given at first. I was told that there was an issue with the initial one they had given us. We enjoy the kart ride to our building and realize we were given a room that overlooked the forest - which was beautiful but we pod for ocean view. They then gave us another room with an ocean view but with two double beds that they put together. So we went back to the reception desk again and finally got our ocean view room. It was my boyfriend’s first time in Cuba and I tried to prepare as best I could regarding the food situation but I was surprised by the selection and taste. It was a little redundant, but when is buffet style not? I have to say it was probably the best food i’ve had in Cuba (i’ve been 3 times). We went to the Cuban, Portuguese à la carte and it was good. I’m vegetarian and it was limiting but they did their very best to accommodate me. Shoutouts to Ronni, Yailin from the buffet; Ronni from the beach grill (that man deserves a big shoutout, standing by the grill all day and preparing really good chicken/fish/seafood snacks - judging from how fast my boyfriend was eating it ;); Ailen, Yuniel, Yandy, Felipe, & Yosvany at the beach bar. We did an excursion to playa pillar which is a must, it is so heavenly and another to visit a Cuban cigar farm and sugar factory - which included a train ride and pit stop at a small hotel where we had the best piña colada of our lives. During our excursions, we spoke to people that experienced water interruption, depleted items in the buffet and humidity in their rooms. Gladly it wasn’t our case at all. The hotel could use a little bit a refresher but it’s clean and comfortable. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and I definitely recommend this hotel. The beaches are phenomenal and the people are to warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely go back there (:

I travelled two times to this beautiful resort. I would recommend it two anyone as I enjoyed my time spent there. I give 5 stars for entertainment team. Could you please help me to find out the name of the song? It's spanish ballad sang by older man. Two dancers danced as couple in love. Voice of singer was little course and the song is slower pace.

1st time , but been more than 25 times to Cuba. We were with our 2 kids age 5-7 for 2 weeks. Playa Paraiso is a good 4 star Cuban resort with excellent service throughout. Our room was perfectly maintained, our maid Osleydis did a fantastic job + decorated our room everyday. Rooms are like most of 4 star hotel rooms in Cuba AC worked perfectly. The beach is spectacular. Only negative part about the beach is that is it right by the public beach. Unfortunately, during the weekend it gets very crowded and some locals sadly do not realize how beautiful their beach is. There was empty bottles, cans and all sorts of things floating in the ocean. The buffet is typical of Cuba with limited choices at times but we always found something to eat. Just remember that you are in Cuba and they are doing their best with what they have! Yurita and Lieny for taking care of our family at breakfast and lunch each day, they were amazing. Yadier, Sandor and Yunia exceeded our expectations at night. They are one of the bests I've seen in Cuba. Our plates were always cleared right away and our glasses or the kids’ glasses never empty. We also ate at all 3 a la carte restaurants, the Italian was our favorite. Mary at the Italian is also amazing. We preferred the Italian restaurant over the other ones. Service at the bars was also A+ the lobby bar service was by far the best. My children really liked the Kids shows at night. Animation is average .The staff is very nice, but the activities are so so

I have just arrived back from this hotel. We were the last Thomas Cook customers at this hotel before the news of liquidation. We felt so sorry for the staff and although it was heart breaking the staff kept smiling and waited on us hand and foot. Entertainment crew worked so hard and did a great Job David I miss your smiling face already keep up the good work. Lobby bar great friendly smiling staff Alberto Elizabeth Fernando and Yosuany thank you for keeping me hydrated. Snack bar made a nice change for a quick feed if not to hungry. Rooms were nicely looked after with lovely towel animations left, very talented, with flowers. Thank you. Half of the pool was being repaired and retiled which I was told about before going but unfortunately the half left open was only hip deep, great for kids but not adults. Noise and disruption minimal. The grounds Beautifully looked after and kept clean and tidy even after storms. The food in the main eating hall.... Disappointed lots of fish unfortunately I don't like fish. Food was cold most of the time unless you had pasta or meats cooked to order when available Potatoes cold and repetitive, salads nice, Breakfast eggs cooked to order great job cooked any way you wanted and hot. Toaster rubbish, but most are wherever you go. Coffee sometimes cold. Deserts same every meal. Staff were great again here always smiling and attentive. Pizza very very slim on toppings but I'm told the one at the beach was super. Would I go again not until refurb Completed, this hotel has just changed hands so there's plenty to sort out but the staff are amazing and I met some very nice people. Beach looked beautiful it looks like the brochure no problem with seaweed.
