    We came back yesterday after spending a week at Pullman You should visit / spend your holidays here for: Short drive from airport about 10 minutes Beutifull ocean front resort 3 pools and kids pool Kids club Nice clean rooms Nice grounds Friendly staff Locals dont bug you Beach is gorgeous Food its ok a la carte restaurant better then buffet Entertainment is great all day long Mosquitos in November are not a problem bring some chip bug spray and you ll be fine Many thanks to Roberto chief of the buffet , Richard and the Miky Mouse lady from the entertainment team , Liber , Ysmael , Myry, Hermes , Wilberg ....and everybody else that made our stay better then we expected. All the negative reviews are from Uk visitors that went in the wrong season ( Hurricane season) i lost count of the times i went to England and got ill from eating their crap ....it happens everywhere. I would highly recommend this resort and we will return in the future.

    After spending many many years at a different resort in cayo coco, we decided it was time to give the Pullman a try. All I can say is great decision. The Pullman sure delivered. We were lucky enough to have stayed in the collection section, and words are not enough to describe our wonderful vacation. From the moment we arrived until a very emotional good bye , everything was just amazing. As most have said before, it's the Pullman family who make the biggest difference. They truly do everything to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. We truly felt spoiled for a whole week. I would love to thank everyone, but my list would never end! Jose, you made the second best canadian coffee I have ever had, my MF Lizzie makes the best and taught me how to make them, but yours are a very very best Cuban canadian coffee, and very best Cuban Gin and tonic at 4 pm when I usually share one with my friend Ernie. Thank you for your friendship my dear. The lovely ladies in the gourmet restaurant, Yenny and Claudia,your smiles were the best start to my day??, buddy at the beach bar, sweet sweet man who always has a story, Ariel whom I have known for years, my dear dear friend, was so good to spend time with you again. Eduardo, my newest friend, your cheerfulness and warm smile light up a room. Adrian , my dearest friend of many years, was such a great day to have the very first Pullman hockey game with you ,have missed you so much, Wilber, you still make me laugh, and sitting on the deck of the beach bar looking over the beach was just magical, Jackie my sweet friend at the reception, Carlos my cheerful Gardner who will literally jump over a hedge to come and give me a hug, and Jean Luc, your simple kindness and care that you take to make sure everyone is happy and always there if we needed anything! These are the kind of things no other resort can offer, it's a feeling you have to experience for yourself. We will be back as soon as we can! My heart belongs to cuba??

    This was my first time going to an all inclusive resort. The beaches are beautiful, the pools are nice and the people are wonderful! (Most of them) It’s not as nice cosmetically as I had thought; the seats are worn down and paint is peeling but considering how many people go through there I guess that’s understandable. The highlight of my experience were the entertainers for sure; especially Choco, Betty, Mary, Double A, the twin brothers Kaylen & , Genie (in a bottle??), Yesi (Minnie Mouse), Mia, Adrian, Richard the towel guy was awesome. Hermes by the swim up bar made us awesome drinks always with a cheerful attitude. Loved Abel in the lobby consistently taking care of us while we lounged in the evening. The shows were wonderful every evening (even though they didn’t come up as per schedule. Our group was very sad and disappointed that we had to miss the beach party. We were told it would be on Friday but it ended up being Saturday night and we were departing Saturday morning ?? I highly suggest that if you want a pool lounge chair to go up and save your spot in the morning before breakfast. We had a hard time finding chairs for our group of 5 if we didn’t save our spots. Hated that we had to do that. Although the food wasn’t something I’d really rave about but the guys doing our omelettes/French toast/crepes every morning were super friendly. But getting service at your table for coffee or drinks in the morning were fairly poor. Our beds were made every day which was nice but a few issues we had were that we ran out of water one day, hydro another day (only restored really late in the day), thermostat didn’t work consistently so -17 in our room one night and 24 the next! Our key cards failed to work about 4-5 times and once got locked out because they thought we had checked out. So all on all, not terrible but could have been better. Love that most of the staff seem happy and love to sing and dance and smile. Love the people! Oh and you must give the churros a try! They are simply delicious!

    The staff were definitely the highlight of this trip. I did a girls trip with some family and met such wonderful people. Abel a waiter in the lobby, Hermes a bartender by the pool and the entertainers Adrian, Kaylan, Choco, Mary, Double A, Betty, Yeisy, Geiny, Mia, Yaris, Richard and Yanelis. The entertainers made sure we had the best time. The show's each night were fantastic, especially the horror night and the rock night (shout out to the amazing group dharma!) We had some troubles here and there with keycards not working and water being off for a partial day but would go back just for the people we meet there.

    A poor first experience of cuba

    So because it’s a five star maybe I have to high expectations about the hotel but I have got to say I was extremely disappointed, and saying that the whole group of 16 of us were disappointed and all had to move at least one. On arrival we were in block 22, top floor. This room was ok, we had two slightly bigger then single beds for myself and girlfriend which wasn’t what we asked for but we didn’t mind to much. We soon realised that this whole block had no hot water at all and that our aircon didn’t work and the controller was having off the wall. We waited for a day or two to see if the hot water would come back on but it didn’t so we decided to ask to change rooms as we were staying for two weeks and didn’t want to last 2 weeks without hot water BLOCK 23 We then got moved to the second floor block 23. Now this room seemed to be better as we had a huge king size bed for both of us but it wasn’t until the second day in this room we noticed the problems. The whole room was damp, and this in turn caused the bedding, towels even our clothes to become damp. Eventually mould came through on the ceiling and I got told from the cleaner it was our thought as the cleaner didn’t clean for just one day. Now mould does not just appear if a cleaner doesn’t clean so they were obviously wiping it away everyday hoping no one would notice. THE COLLECTION SIDE We then got moved again and this time to the collection side. This was a lot better but again we were down to having two beds but this was the only room they had. These rooms are slightly bigger but again we had a problem with the hot water and water pressure. If you have a shower around 6pm the water is literally trickerling out like a tap. This room also had a slight damp smell to it but after moving three times we could not be bothered to do it again. FRIENDS ROOM So our friends room in block 23 had the same issue with the mould and their ceiling actually cracked in the middle. Please see pictures The actual staff at the front desk are not very happy or helpful most of the time, the food in the buffet is hit or miss whether nice or not, no plates, no room to eat. The other restaurants are very good so would recommend booking these up and eating in them. The gardens are amazing and they are the best thing about the hotel The pools need maintenance on them, tiles coming off and bits of loose block work around the pools. Maintenance around the whole hotel is rather poor as you can see by the picture of the fire alarm hanging off the wall.
