This is a great apartment hotel. It’s amazing to have so much room in the heart of Waikiki. It’s minutes away from the beach and so close to the best restaurants and shopping. We have two children and there is so much space. It’s great to have the room to relax and not feel like your living on your bed whilst being on holidays for 10 days. Our apartment is beautiful and has everything we need to feel at home. The staff are so friendly and nothing is a problem. I highly recommend this property and would choose a two bedroom on a high floor. Have stayed in many other hotels in Waikiki and this is the best by far.

Expensive cleaning fee for unclean apartment

On arrival we have been informed we must pay a cleaning fee of $250 for our stay. Yet on arrival in the room there is towel dust, hairs and sneer marks in the bathroom, dust and tea stain marks in kitchen. You do not receive housekeeping unless you pay extra per day for this. Dirty! Do not recommend for cleanliness and cost.

We found this hotel/condo very central to Waikiki and 5 mins. from the beach. The staff were fantastic and the condo very clean and had everything we needed. You are able to use the pool and facilities at the sister property Outrigger on the beach and can book all your tours at the activities desk in the hotel. We dealt with Lydia who is the Lead Concierge at the hotel. She was fantastic and spot on with her recommendations. Everyone was sooo friendly and helpful. we will definitely return and stay at the same location. Mahalo.

    Overpriced, tired & dirty

Recently stayed here & for the price paid had much higher expectations. The property is old & run down & in desperate need of cleaning & upgrade. The only thing going for this place is the location which is in easy walking distance to beach, shops & restaurants. Dirty, greasy kitchen cupboard handles, stained mattress & sheets, lamps that don’t work, missing grills on air conditioning unit. The final insult when you check out is the USD235 cleaning fee, when they don’t clean or service whilst you’re staying there - actually doesn’t look like they clean that much at all. So much choice & competition in the area - look elsewhere.

We also stayed here in 2011. We liked it then and like it now. We had a 2-BR with the second bedroom going to our 7 year old. We might have gotten by with him sleeping on the sofa bed, but it would have been tight. The kitchen was adequate. We ate breakfast and lunch in the room, typically. We did our shopping at the Foodland in Ala Moana mall. The mall is a lot of fun--check out the Japanese section. We rented a car and were lucky enough to get a spot in the back parking lot ($35/night). It would have been somewhat less convenient to park at the other hotel ($40/night). The staff is very friendly, Zachary in particular. The complementary POG juice in the lobby is a nice touch. The pool and beaches are down the street. The beaches there are a bit crowded so we typically went to Ala Moana Beach or drove to a beach farther afield. The main shopping district and many restaurants are all in an 0.5 mile radius. Our patio overlooked Fort DeRussy park and downtown and was extremely pleasant. We thought the $275 cleaning fee was a bit steep. The biggest detraction for us was the noise from the garbage trucks between 4 and 6 am on most mornings. We were on the 6th floor and it still bothered us. This is why I am giving it four stars instead of five.
