Fairmont Orchid Exceeds All Our Expectations
AprilinCharlotteNC on Apr 13, 2024
Our most favorite hotel! We have travelled quite a bit and stayed in many hotels. The Fairmont Orchid was our favorite by far! This resort is gorgeous! Lush plants, awesome detail everywhere. We were promptly greeted when we arrived and given traditional leis. Checking was fast and friendly. Our suite was spectacular. When you walk in you are first greeted by a subtle scent of vanilla and coconut that made you want to breathe deeply and relax from the very first moment. Each time we came to our room I noticed this subtle relaxing scent. The suite had a phenomenal view of the mountains, the ocean, and the grounds at the same time. Exquisite! There was plenty of room for luggage with 2 separate closets and an anteroom to the both room that could be used as an office but we made it an extension of the closets to make everything easily accessible. There was Hawaiian live music playing and the gentleman was so kind to the children who came up to him. The cafe by the pool had exceptional food and drinks and staff was super friendly as well. There were plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the pool which was shaped in such a way that it seemed like so many private pools - it never seemed crowded. Plenty of space for parents to relax and watch their children. The ocean view was spectacular, especially at sunset. The Ali’i Royal Experience at the Spa Without Walls was superb. My masseuse was Merlin and he truly had magic hands. The experience took place in one of the outdoor huts with the sound of the waterfalls and running brooks all around. Just so incredibly relaxing. All in all this resort was truly phenomenal and honestly the price was well below what we would have expected to pay - I can say we felt that we more than got our money’s worth - and we will happily come back again and again - next time bringing our whole family.

We visited at the end of February and had the best time! Beautiful location and views from our room of the golf course and ocean were amazing! Loved all the amenities and restaurants ! The beach had great snorkeling and take a hike on the path along the beach and you will see sea turtles! The complimentary shuttle was great! The pool and beach service was excellent! The gym was also very good! Don’t miss dinner at Brown’s as the sun is setting! Would love to return someday!!
