Gavin is highly professional hotel service specialist!

stradomsky (????, ???????) on Apr 13, 2024

It was spontaneous hotel reservation, as we planned just to visit Las Vegas for a day trip. But it was absolutely outstanding decision to stay at this hotel, on reception we were met by highly professional receptionist Gavin who provided luxurious service level. This is my second time in Las Vegas with stay in different hotel as well, but this stay was like 5+ star luxury hotel because of Gavin. “Paying attention to details is always key” - this is about Gavin. After some tours we were tired, and when we just came to reception - from the first second Gavin offer to us bottles of water, during check-in process Gavin offered an upgrade for our room making our stay unforgettable. Location of the hotel is perfect as well!

Great time

Great time staying at The Cromwell. Had good fortune in the casino which always helps. Angelina took great care of us at Interlude inside the casino. Would encourage trying to stay on the middle or lower floors as Drai bleeds through at night if you're towards the top of the hotel.

Gross! Loud, smells stale and run-down!

RockinMom13 (Phoenix, Arizona) on Mar 19, 2024

This place is just horrible! The rooms are soooooo dark and un inviting, they also smell stale. There really is nothing attractive about it. I understand the vibe of a “ boudoir” that they were going for, but it’s just now gross! Including the “romance” kit they leave in the dresser. I was here for a convention at Caesars forum. I didn’t sleep cause all I could hear 24/7 was the bass of music. I am going home and sleeping for a week! Do yourself a favor and skip this place, there are so many other much better places to stay!

Skip the Cromwell hotel. Casino is still good.

Despite spending 30-100 nights/year in hotels for the last 20 years, I've never felt the need to leave a negative review. However, the customer service at the Cromwell was bad enough that I did. My actual complaint is that the room provided smelt like a can of axe body spray exploded in it. I'm sure it wasn't exactly that, but it was an extremely stinky room. In addition, the door was out of alignment and very difficult to get shut. I was in the room for two minutes. I came down and asked for a different room (this is only the second time in my life that I've asked for this). They absolutely refused to move me. It was 6 o'clock on Sunday, so it wasn't the last room they had. The front desk manager wanted to run some sort of machine in the room. She couldn't describe to me what the machine was except that they use it to remove smoke smells. In retrospect, I suspect that it was an ozone generator. Using an ozone generator in an occupied unventilated room is definitely unsafe. I had to book another hotel. They refused any refund. There were some additional minor issues, but not worth mentioning. I still might not left a negative review, if the front desk staff had been in any way helpful or even friendly; instead they were downright rude. I've stayed at all the other Caesars properties (except NOBU) and they have always been fine. PS The bellhops and casino staff were great.

I wanted to Like Cromwell

V6430SZroberth (Salt Lake City, Utah) on Mar 18, 2024

I should note that I frequently stay at the Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria, Sometimes Nobu at Caesar’s, so these are my reference points. The Cromwell is not these, by a margin, but still, its location is excellent, for example, to see Absinthe. That said, got a parlor suite, nice tub, but dated fixtures, TV casting nice when finally got it to work. Not enough plugs, lights were burned out, no batteries in bathroom scale, the internet is restricted, and awful. We could not get the previous guest disconnected even with engineering help. The management said this was ongoing problem, too bad when they actually tell you this. The room was 858. I presume top floor. One of the better rooms about $500 per night. No room service that I could discern, front desk is neutral, quickly overwhelmed by guests checking in and out. Valet only on weekends, this is not good, had to self park part of my stay. Advertised no pool per se., gambling is difficult because casino gets noisy, a $15 craps table is a plus, which in part drew me here, but it is only one table, so fills quickly. Giada is a gem, great food, it is a nice plus. I might go to this restaurant without staying at Cromwell. Ceiling shower small plus. Will I return, no. Why? Room problems, internet issues, iffy valet parking and lack of responsiveness to these will keep me away just to name a few. Back to 4 seasons for me, you get what you pay for in this town.
