Stayed for a week on a recent business trip. Our group was taken well care of. The food and drinks were excellent. Rooms were very clean and the resort well maintained. Can not say enough about the staff. From Check in to Check out we had great service, Hotel Maids, Wait Staff, Bartenders were all helpful and very friendly. We never made it to a select restaurant. Due to the fresh selection and quality at the Buffet we did not dine anywhere else. Would definitely stay again if we return to Jamaica.

This was our first stay with an Iberostar Resort, and we were very pleased. We were a group of 6 adults, booked 3 rooms and we stayed 4 nights. This hotel isn't far from the airport, about 20 minutes. First, within this resort there are really three resorts. Iberostar Grand, Iberostar Suites and Iberostar Beach. Grand is the most exclusive, and has visiting rights to all three resorts, Suites is the middle level and in the middle position within the resort, and it has rights to use Beaches restaurants and facilities, Beaches is limited to its own beach, restaurants etc. We choose the middle level Suites. All of the resorts had nice beaches, and they are all connected and so you can walk from the Beaches to the Grand on the beach. The Grand and Suites had the nicest beaches, but truly they all are nice. There are some boardwalks near the top of the beaches that connects the resorts, but if you're not staying in the Grand, you might be asked not to walk on their section, you can walk along the water. (More about this later). We went in the middle of January and never had trouble find beach lounges together. In the Suites resort there are several pools and a lazy river. The lazy river had virtually no flow, so you have to kick or paddle to move. There were plenty of chairs to sit on around the pools, a couple of times we had to move some so we could sit together. There were activities scheduled throughout the day at the pool. Also by the pool was ping pong and corn hole. There were games to borrow by the towel shack. There were plenty of places to sit in the shade both on the beach and at the pool. There were Vendors who walked up and down the beaches selling stuff. I'm pretty sure it was Marijuana or something like that since they didn't seem to be carrying much. That said, they were not pushy and they stayed by the waterline. The food at the buffet was very good, and there was a lot of variety. There was a lot of fruit cut up and ready to eat. There were many different breads and salads. Most of their chicken dishes were very good. There was a section with seafood. I saw pizza and a pasta station. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Every night there was a theme in the buffet (Indian, Asian, Moroccan) but that was only a small portion of the entire buffet, still plenty of other choices if that didn't appeal. In addition to the Buffet, there were specialty restaurants that required a reservation. Once again, as Suites guests we could eat at any restaurant in our resort and Beaches. Although Beaches only allots a certain amount of seats for non Beaches guests at the specialty restaurants. We booked two specialty restaurants moments after we checked in and found most of the time slots were later than we like to eat. We got reservations for two and three days later at 8pm. Four of our party went to the Steakhouse and enjoyed that. All of us went to the Oriental restaurant (that's what they called it) and that was disappointing. Most of their appetizers were served buffet style and those were good, but the entrees were small in portion and limited. For example, there were only two chicken dishes and both were fried, I ordered a vegetarian entrée and mixed veggies for my side, both were basically the same thing and made almost completely of cabbage and maybe some carrot...no broccoli, or other veggie, just cabbage. In addition to the buffet and the restaurants, there is the Star Café, which has 24 hour service and made good lattes. There was a food truck on the beach that served hotdogs, wraps, fruit and French fries around lunch time. Plenty of bars. There is also 24 hour room service. There is the Fun and Fit Fitness center. There was a lot of equipment there and they do classes also. I took yoga twice and enjoyed it. There is nightly entertainment. Something for kids at 8:15 and Adults 9:30. As far as I could tell, the shows rotate through the three resorts. More often than not, we walked over to Beaches to see the show since what was at our resort that night didn't appeal. That said, none of them were great. One night there was a steel drum show, which I hoped would play some Jamaican music, but no, they played contemporary music to steel drums; interesting. It seems like all resorts have a Michael Jackson Show, so we didn't want to miss that one. Once again, we got more than a chuckle out of it. "Michael" was lip syncing and at times I'm not sure that the sound track playing was actually Michael, and of course there was crotch grabbing. Poor Michael, so cliché. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. We were on the ground floor, facing the pool in building 3000. I could see the ocean partially from our patio. Initially I was worried that being on the ground floor would be noisy both from people walking through the hallway and from the pool, but I wasn't bothered with noise. Maybe during the holidays it would be more of an issue. The rooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers. I didn't pack body lotion and was able to ask for some. Daily they brought me little bottles of lotion. They are a green hotel and rather than supplying plastic water bottles, there are two nice quart size glass bottles provided for every room. There are filtered water stations at the end of every hallway. There is a coffee machine and small refrigerator in each room. Now about walking into the Grand...I can only sit for so long before I need to stretch my legs with a brisk walk. Every day except for the last day, I left my chair on the beach, headed toward the grand resort, walked around the perimeter of the pool area, up into the lobby, even once walked down some of the hallways to compare it to our resort, exited through the lobby, followed the sidewalk down the front of the resorts, down to the Beaches resort. I then walked down to the beach, up through their pool, back down to the beach and back to my chair.(that's about 1 mile), sometimes I'd reverse the order. I never had anyone stop me when I got to the Grand property. On the last day there, I was stopped from entering the Lobby and later my kids told me they had been stopped from walking on the Boardwalk at the Grand...So I guess it's who's on duty. BTW from what I could see here's what the Grand offers that the others don't: The hallways are carpeted and have concierge service on every floor, the towel hut has sunscreen for you to use, the lounge chairs have pads (that would have been nice because I thought the chairs were uncomfortable), there are cute little shaded cabanas for sitting out. I'm sure there's a lot more, but that was what I noticed. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely consider return to it.

This hotel is top notch. Customer service is over the top what ever you need or want you will get. The pool area is stunning. The beach is great one complaint alot of drug dealers walking the beach asking for you to buy drugs they have respect if you say no they leave but so many of them. If they can fix that problem it would of got 5 stars . Talk to alot of other vacationers on the beach and that is the biggest complaint. When you have drug dealers asking teenagers elderly if they want to buy drugs .

We are getting ready to leave and should be sad, but we had a lovely week. It is our second tome at this resort. This year was even better than last year. They definitely stepped things up a notch. Entertainment crew was the same as last year and just as great. Kiki, Carlos Montana, Pineapple-Akeem, Tiny, Peaches... AMAZING!! The pool bar staff were very attentive! Glenroy is my favorite, but Doreen, Anisa, Oneil, Andre and Stacy Ann were above the best! David and Steve at the lobby bar were a hoot! And always there working overtime for our convenience. Piere at the front desk was so helpful. Breanna Fay(?) and Candice were most accommodating at the Star Prestige lounge. Davey at the Italian restaurant went above and beyond when my husband was not feeling well with providing a togo plate. All the restaurants were amazing and the buffet is one of the best in the Caribbean. Bring your own insulated tervis tumbler for colder bigger drinks at the pool bar! WOW! We are so grateful to the wonderful staff for providing a wonderful week! Thank you!

My review will center around my experience as a bride at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, but I have nothing but amazing things to say about our overall stay at the resort! Iberostar Rose Hall Suites Wedding Coordinator Catherine Watkins and her associate Jessan James-Thompson are the best in the business. I couldn't have dreamed of better wedding coordinators. They were attentive, fun, caring, detail-oriented, and they played no games! My wedding was their absolute first-priority and they did not miss a beat. On top of this, the Digipix photographers and videographers were top notch! They did incredible work and were extremely attentive and hard working. Every one was on time and took such great care of our wedding party. My only regret is not being able to relive this moment again with this team.
