I have been to sandals royal Caribbean 5 times and it’s steadily declining for the price. The mariners seaside grill where I ate a fajita jerk chicken was terrible dry and tasteless. The Thai restaurant one appetizer was crumbs of shrimp on top of lettuce no considered food to me. The phat Thai was greasy and not like I’ve ever eaten, 2 other appetizers we’re delicious. The curry pork dish was plentiful but too much curry for me. Now get to the best restaurant on the property the French, so good it’s hard to not praise the staff and chef he/ she is amazing. The lamb shanks full off the bone and the duck is succulent and delicious a five star delight. The poolside chairs which we’re wooden and uncomfortable now are a white hard vinyl without securing a cushion which are not readily available you will go home with a backache. This resort is not a five star with over $4000 + air it’s not worth the experience any longer. If you decide to go don’t eat beef it’s dry and not like in USA we eat at the exclusive butch’s steak house on Montago bay resort steak and lobster was not edible dry and tasteless that was in 2019.

Super Bowl Weekend and my Birthday too.

This place is Great! Staff remembers us, GM does also, and no issues with anything! Pool Bar is wonderful and the service quick even when busy. Never had issues, food choices were varied at the buffet for Breakfast and Lunch. Dinners also great but the best place is the French restaurant. Its kind of outside but surrounded by the main building with the entrance near tje front desk. Amazing place to eat. Need reservations so make them asap.

I am NOT an “all inclusive” resort lover, but Sandals RC has made me a convert. It’s a lovely small resort with a lot of special care taken to make our stay fantastic. Food was above average. Butler service is outstanding. Beach & pool are clean & sparkling. Can not wait to return and I haven’t even left yet. (PS- the only loudness you hear is laughter, tree frogs & steel drums...no shrieking kids!)

    Do not stay here!

We paid an ungodly amount to stay here. Day 1 the refrigerator left a huge puddle that took four towels to keep dry. See pictures. Then we asked four people for beer in our room which I thought was supposed to be stocked. We had three beers in our room and we are on day 2. No worries mon! That was not the attitude from- concierge lady- she was flat out rude. I get that she had little control over it, but seriously this is Montego bar. Can you find a few beers on this gigantic resort? She said they had no more beer and I’d have to go to the Bar to get draft beer (mind you, the bar is down three flights of stairs and a walk to the middle of the beach). Ok, so yeah that me being lazy but —- come on! We spent so much money. Less than 2r hours in the room and my husband went to use the bathroom and the entire top came off! See pictures. I have a video too I’d try to post The bed post is also falling apart. See pictureS. Disappointed and won’t be returning. We are here for three more nights- fingers crossed we have a toilet and Red Stripe. That’s literally all we are asking for.

    Disappointing Stay

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Royal Caribbean for our honeymoon from December 14-19, and we were disappointed in our stay. Customer service varied widely, from exceptional to down right rude. In particular, I had my watch stolen from our room, which was very upsetting at it was worth over $50. We had booked an excursion (Catamaran Cruise and Margaritaville) and were told by the front desk and Island Routes desk to be in the lobby for pickup at 9:45. We arrived at 9:30 and waited until 9:50, when we asked the Front a Desk if they were coming. They told us “Oh they’re on Island Time, everything runs late”. At 9:55, my husband went to the Island Routes desk, where they yelled at him and said “where have you been? We’ve been looking for you and calling your room, you were supposed to be there at 9:15.” We were then yelled at by the van driver as well after she finally came to pick us up, which soured the entire experience. In addition, we booked a private dinner to celebrate. We came back to our room at 2:00 PM the day of the dinner after being on the beach, and there was a sheet of paper for our meal selections that stated it needed to be turned in 24 hours prior to our meal. We could not have possibly done that because the sheet was not in our room when we left that morning at 10:00 AM. My husband went to turn it in and was once again berated, told “we were calling your room, we need this information, where have you been?” And they told us “we might be able to still make this work”. Again, this soured the private dinner because we spent a lot of money on it and did not do anything wrong, but were made to feel that we did and that we were inconveniencing them. I felt like an inconvenience a few times while at Sandals Royal Caribbean, and honestly would not go back. There are other places I can spend my money that will offer better service.
