We have stayed here about 3 times over the last couple years. Each time the staff has been so friendly, polite and helpful. It's nice to be welcomed and acknowledged by everyone. The rooms are clean and spacious. And the beds/pillows are the best we have experienced. Towels are plentiful, bathroom amenities as usual, but if you forgot to pack something, just ask Guest Service. They might have what you need. The breakfast area was kept clean, even when busy, and the food well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

    An excellent Hyatt Place property

I'm a big fan of the Hyatt Place line of hotels. When the opportunity to visit Disneyland for a day came up, I looked at Hyatt first. There was a choice between the Hyatt House a little bit further north on Harbor, or Hyatt Place. Hyatt Place was a little bit cheaper, it was just me and I was only staying one night, so I opted for it. It was a great choice. I would say that this is the edge of reasonable walking distance to Disneyland. It's about a mile from the hotel to the park entrance. The Hyatt House is about a block closer and cuts that down by about a quarter of a mile, which may not seem like much, but after walking many miles in the parks all day, having a slightly shorter walk back to the hotel would be nice. Since it's a Good Neighbor Hotel, you can cash in on some of the perks that Disney has for guests, including some of the Magic Mornings, etc. You can also purchase tickets there and have package deals with this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was hot with good water pressure and consistent temperatures. There's free wifi and all of the usual things you would expect from a Hyatt Place. Breakfast was a bit better here than other Hyatt Place locations. They still have the Seattle's Best Coffee, (Starbucks little brother), and farm to table products, but this was larger, offered a couple of more items and duplicated the buffet on the other side so that more people could get food. They also were prepared for the coffee rush. They had a line of coffee dispensers setup and then full ones behind those to quickly cycle in when the front line was depleted. Then there's the staff. They were very pleasant and helpful in explaining how the parking system worked and that they were able to hold my bags inside after I checked out while I was at the park. I was also allowed to leave my rental car there after checkout and not pay for another day since I left before midnight. Unfortunately there's not much in the way of views. You can't see the parks or the fireworks due to other hotels in the way, but you're too tired to care anyways. Thankfully they have comfy beds to sleep in! The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the distance. Like I said, it's almost too far to walk, but not quite far enough where you want to pay for an Uber, a shuttle or drive your own car and pay for parking again at Disney. Still a solid choice and would definitely stay here again.

Maria, the housekeeper, made all the difference to us on our stay. Woderfully considerate and respectful, we would stay again just for her. Wonderful hotel. Close to Disneyland. Worth the coat for amenities.

These hotels are the best! For what you save by not being right next to the park, you can easily cover the cost of a quick Lyft to the parks. This hotel also has a free breakfast, which in this area is incredibly valuable if you are traveling with kids. Pool and hot tub is clean. Free water bottles each day before heading to the park for World of Hyatt Members... Highly recommend!

This is our second time at this hotel and our stay was great both times. They are at a fantastic location, less than a mile walk to Disneyland. The staff was always helpful and answered all my questions. The room was really clean. And the breakfast was yummy each day we stayed. My family really enjoyed our stay!
