    Wow. Just wow. I must say, this is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. It has a wonderful view and a fantastic restaurant. The view is breathtaking. There is also a store inside. The monorail goes right threw the hotel which is amazing. The monorail is silent too. If you are going to Disney World you need to go to this hotel.

    It was fun to explore the Contemporary Resort on our latest visit to WDW. The location is amazing, right on the monorail line and adjacent to Bay Tower and Magic Kingdom. I'm not a huge fan of the architectural style of this resort, but even so I appreciated the openness and cleanliness of the public areas. There are a couple of big gift shops which is nice, too.

    Wonderful location! Nice short walk to MK, or monorail ride. Appreciates security checks for Contemporary instead of the long lines at MK. Spacious rooms, with comfortable beds! Delicious and convenient dining. Fun pool and Beach with lovely gardens. First floor rooms have nice patio.

    Had a four year trip to Disney planned for a four year old’s “first” leap year birthday. Wanted the most convenient option as we were also traveling with 7-month-old twins, even if it meant paying more. We paid more to stay at the Contemporary. Unfortunately, this hotel was met with problems that could have had a lot more attention. We had someone in our party take the twins back to the hotel one night from Epcot because they were tired and ready to go to bed. Upon her arrival to the hotel, her app nor magicband worked to unlock the room of the door. She as well as myself called the resort so that someone can assist, and we were both given the canned “we will be there shortly” answer. 40 minutes later, no security. By this time, both twins were hysterically crying and both soiled their diapers. I called again for an update and was again given the canned “we will assist shortly” which I did not accept. I advised I would stay on hold on the phone until security has let them in the room. After 19 minutes of holding, they were finally let into the room.During the course of the wait, a female housekeeper who didn’t speak English walked by and saw her in distress, couldn’t understand and walked away. An hour wait for that type of situation is absolutely unacceptable by any means. The next day, we came back to the room to a plate of Mickey cookies... no acknowledging the incident or apology from anyone. As mentioned, we were there to celebrate a “1st” leap year birthday. On Wednesday 2/26, i approached the desk and asked if something can be put in the room while we were in the parks on Saturday 2/29, and even offered to pay for it to happen. We were told no problem and it would be in the room by 3pm on Saturday 2/29. During the course of the day, we told the birthday girl that something special was in the room waiting for her. You can imagine our disappointment when we arrived back to the room to absolutely nothing placed in the room. I’m aware that this was a free amenity, but I offered to pay to guarantee this would happen, and was assured it wasn’t necessary, and then nothing happened. We told the front desk about it, and were told it can be delivered the next day between 12pm and 3:30pm. Okay, that’s nice, but that’s not even her birthday anymore, so the special factor was gone. We left the room to be in the pool area between 12 and 3:30. We checked back at the room at 3:00, nothing. Once again, we called down and they said it would be there “shortly”. It came at 3:28pm. So kudos for meeting the time frame, but I have this feeling at the pit of my stomach that if it we did not follow up on it, it plus have been forgotten again. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk the morning of checkout, the blonde female manager couldn’t be more disinterested in my concerns. We got the “oh well we’ll follow up with the runners to see where the disconnect is” lip service to shut me up and send me on my way. The bus also broke down on the way to a park one day, not the resort’s fault but it was also worth noting. In all, we were disappointed we paid almost $10,000 for a memorable vacation, and we are leaving with disappointment and annoyance. We will consider other hotel options off property if we decide to return again.

    Woke up at 6am to make sure to be at star wars with my son for the rise of resistance ride, literally at 8am and 10sec I was 96th in line for a boarding group. Left, came back for some fast passes then left for the day while keeping an eye for my boarding call. At hotel around 7pm I asked a front deskworker if they think I'll make it for the the ride. Gentlemen said after seeing my boarding queue that I should head back that even if park closed they will Honor all the remaining rides. I quickly ran took a taxi got there at 730 only to be told when the park shut down so does the ride, waste 9f time and money. Day later I saw the clerk and he felt bad after I told him what happened. He was under different impression as well... Point being pls get staff on same page. He said he would bring it up to management. Needless to say my 9 year old was exhausted and disappointed.
