This hotel needs serious renovation. The rooms are dated, worn out (my bath tub has been painted over 3 times at least), dirty (carpet is worn out and dirty, the drain in my tub was black with god knows what), smelly (maybe from my drain?) and the gym is terrible (if you’re serious about fitness you will need to find an external gym).

The room assigned was faded and worn beyond acceptability. The staff was totally overwhelmed and ineffective. On a dozen or mor occasions, phone calls to housekeeping, service, and front desk went simply unanswered. I eventually got through and asked for the manager on duty. He was not available, so I left a message. Over 3 hours passed with no return call. In sum, worn down hotel that is very poorly managed. Simply just avoid staying here.

If only I can give something 0 stars. The cost of this place is outrageous. Now, I do not mind paying money for a good hotel. But I would have been better off staying at a motel 8 for 30 bucks a night. Firstly, the place is DIRTY. The wallpaper is coming off everywhere, there is mold in the showers, the carpets look like they have been there for 50 years and never cleaned. They have construction going on to fix up the place... and that leaves it even dirtier and smelling of dust and grime. “Please excuse our mess” signs are posted, they would have been better off shutting down and starting over. The gym: GROSS. I was in there for 4 minutes on the elliptical before noticIng the lack of cleanliness of the gym. Dirt and old sweat that hadn’t been cleaned for what looks like years. First day: walked into the first room that was given to us and it smelled like a dog had thrown up and they had turned off the air conditioning and it sat there like that for days. There was a giant brown stain on the carpet. Having to ask the front desk guy to move us wasn’t too hard, but he appeared shocked that the room was like that. And also... for 250 a night, the room was TINY and the view of port-o-potties was amazing. So onto the second room. Noticing food and glasses outside the door in the hallway. Yes it happens. But they were there for 3 DAYS! Middle of the night torture: sooo I woke up to running water. It was 3 am, I went into the bathroom and the floor was covered in water. The toilet pump and broken and popped the lid off the tank with water spewing out. After shutting off the water, I went to call the front desk, but the phone wasn’t working (surprise). When I went down in the morning, I asked the front desk person if they could discount my room/anything for the troubles I’ve had. He said “no, we don’t do that, but we are sorry and we will fix it”. Ok. Cool. I asked about leaving the hotel and finding another hotel, if I could cancel my other night. Again he said no, that I would have to pay for my remaining night (72 hours advance notice). So now I’m stuck. The toilet wasn’t fixed for another 5 HOURS! Housekeeping doesn’t come until 2pm or later. I will never stay here ever again. And will make sure every single one of my friends knows. I have told the conference leaders (a conference I was attending was being held here as well) that I will not attend their conference if it is at this hotel again. I hope they find another venue. I am not the only one who was feeling this way about the hotel, it was the talk of the conference!

Resort needs updating. Photos on site of rooms definitely not what rooms in building 4 Or 5 look like.

The photos of this resort don’t tell the hole picture. The hallways in building 4 and 5 smell. The wallpaper is torn off the walls and the carpet is held down by tape. The room smells musty, bathroom door handles were broken off, the bathtub had rust and a bug crawling in it. With the rate I paid for my room I could have stayed downtown Palm Springs at a Hyatt for a little more money. Also it is no or longer affiliated with Marriott any more ! I can see why!!! Would never stay here again. It was listed as a hotel recommended by the Sand storm lacrosse tournament so I Wil definitely contact them to let them know of this experience. One of our teammates hated it so much they checked out a day earlier and moved to another hotel ! I should have too! Stay away!! Attached are photos of the tape on carpet hallways with ripped down wall paper and the. Riled down bathroom door !

This is a mid-century modern hotel that was renovated. It is in good condition but not not first rate condition. It is clean, but there were little problems like water dripping in the faucet, and only one waste basket. So dont expect a five star experience. Having said that the pool area is large and first rate, the food at the restaurant is very good, the location is perfect near down town Palm Springs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable.
