Great location

We had a lovely vacation at this resort & it is located in a very nice area right next to the Fairmont Princess, which is quite convenient since our restaurant and little shop weren't open all the time. The room was very nice, altough most of them overlook parking lots & the front desk staff didn't seem to know what was going on when we asked them questions.
Fantastic, roomy condo layout with super heated (because it's January) pools and water slides!

The Holiday Inn in Scottsdale is fantastic!! Huge condo set up: 2BR, 3 TVs, fully appointed kitchen plus a washer and dryer! The outdoor pools (I believe there are 4 of them?) were all super heated (because we went in early January). Our 6 year-old loved the water slides!! (... but the water park was too chilly because of the sprayers, though this would be wonderful during heat waves). The only negative is that this is a time-share, so check-in is bogged down because you need to have a discussion to decline a marketing meeting/sales pitch (to sell you on buying into the time share). The front desk was super helpful with providing lists of restaurants, grocery and other shopping. Of note, Maggiano's (Italian) was amazing!! A bit upscale so a bit intimidating with a little one, but they were so nice and family friendly. Mike, our server was so nice!!! Though a bit pricier, the portions are huge!! Theodore's meal was only $8, same or even cheaper than other restaurants.

Rooms large enough to easily accommodate all four adults at one time, including the kitchen. Furnishings were nice and comfortable. Kitchen well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean unit! Four large pools, hot tubs, and barbeques in four different areas of the resort. Every area well maintained. Great and helpful staff!

The rooms are very well laid out and in good condition. There are no elevators here so you must carry everything up and down up to 3 flights of stairs. The buildings are wood frame and you hear tons of noise from people above, below and beside you. The air conditioning/heating unit is in the ceiling outside one of the bedrooms and sounds like a jet engine. The wifi was unusable in the room we were assigned. I would not stay in this resort again

Great place to stay with kids. Hotel front desk staff and restaurant staff was First Class Five Stars. The pool attendants and activity center folks where a little authoritative which made it not pleasant and wanted to avoid them. But I understand rules are rules. But the pool was enjoyable And the water slides were fun for the kids. I would definitely stay again if in the area. Hotel rooms were very large and very comfortable. Great for families.
