We lost all of our dang minds when we checked in at the Club tower and discovered that we were upgraded to the Penthouse Presidential Suite: a 2 story corner suite on the top floor that has a living area, dining table for 8, a huge master’s bedroom on the 2nd floor with whirlpool tub, a separate sitting area with a pull-out couch and, drum roll….. its own private pool!! Happy birthday to me! Hyatt Ziva PV showed our whole family a really fantastic time. We rented beach cabanas ($99/day), enjoyed the adult-only pool, loved the privacy of the beach, danced at the bar, watched the gorgeous sunset from our room pool, indulged in spa services, chugged-a-lug top shelf alcohol, filled our room with snacks and drinks, basked in the 5 star service of the bartenders, club lounge servers and buffet staff. We were fine staying in the hotel vs going to Malecón day or night. Beatriz Ulloa was an angel prior to my arrival (she patiently answered my emails) and she, together with Jorge Chavez, checked in with us daily to make sure we are well taken care of. We made sure to make our restaurant reservations as soon as we checked in and we never had any problems finding a table good for 8 people. There were restaurants that noticeably had a shortage of servers, especially in the Mexican restaurant, but Martin impressively served with a smile all throughout. I treated myself to the spa’s massage and body scrub. The hydrotherapy ‘ceremony’ before the actual service was already fantastic and Miguel’s relaxing massage was top notch. The facilities are very clean and the views are just 100% gorgeous! The only wrinkle on this trip was Azael at the coffee shop who showed customer service isn’t his greatest strength as we ordered pastries and coffee. Was he already having a bad day before we walked in? Did he find it necessary to be rude to us because he had to make 4 affogatos and 4 lattes? He made the situation from bad to worse when he lied about his name (he said his name is Aster and that he doesn’t understand English) AND removed his nametag behind the muffin display case right before our very eyes!! **We had a conversation with GM Jorge Luis Ayala who apologized and assured us that he will look into the video** Muchas gracias to Hyatt Ziva PV for a great birthday week! ?????????? EVERYTHING WAS SO COOL AND BEAUTIFUL??????!!! The employees were very nice and helpful and friendly!I love the idea that it is an all inclusive hotel!the pool????and beach?? were great! Highly recommend for families with kids??????????????????????! Food??was great too and I loved that at each restaurant??it was a different experience!But my favorite ?? was definitely the buffet??.Plus, you can always use American dollars ?? for tips.We found a lizard ?? in our room but it was very cute ??! We think ?? it’s a great ?? place to be and we hope you Enjoy ?????it and have a fantastic time!

We have just returned from our vacation and it exceeded our high expectations! The location is amazing, the service wonderful, and the food was better than other reviews here had led us to believe. Our room in the Club Tower was excellent with two double beds and a pull-out couch that was great for one of our teens (14 and 18) to sleep alternately on so they didn't have to share a bed (tip: the couch is flat and much more comfortable to sleep on (even for someone over 6' tall) as a couch than then when pulled out). We did not use the hot tub on our balcony as it would have been better advertised as a bathtub with jets (but bring bath salts or bubbles if that's your thing because the view is spectacular), but we enjoyed the balcony often. The restaurant reservation system was very simple and did not restrict our dining in any way. We all ate at the special restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and the teens even snacked at the impressive selection available at the buffet between meals (not because they weren't satisfied but because there was just so much to enjoy). We found that there was a great balance between activity and relaxation. for those who enjoy entertainment, there is lively activity around the pool and at the beach during the day but for those who don't, the property is large enough that there are quiet beach, garden and pool areas to just enjoy the sunshine and waves in peace at all times. Similarly, there is professional entertainment in the evenings but they do a great job of hosting these events on a separate terrace so the noise and activity does not interfere with the experience for those who prefer an evening submersed in nature enjoying the view and glorious surf. The staff were truly exceptional. From Beatriz who answered our many questions before arrival, to Socimo who served breakfast at Blaze with the very warmest of smiles and conversation, to Mariza who filled drink orders on the beach with impressive speed, to Jose who crafted cocktails at the Club Tower bar with flair, to the staff of the Cafe who tirelessly served up espresso concoctions from morning to night. And there are just so many more examples. We will definitely be telling our friends and look forward to returning!

We stayed for 11 nights with 2 other families and were impressed by all that this hotel has to offer! The beach- a stunning, private golden stretch of soft sand. Amazing sunsets and medium to big waves every day. The staff were amazing!!!! So friendly, welcoming, with lots on offer to do throughout the day from aqua Zumba, to trivia, foam parties in the adult pool, beach volley ball games…etc. Orlando, Mala, Scarlett, Brenda, Fernanda brought endless energy every day to connect and entertain the guests! There were many dining options. The buffet was good, consistent with an excellent selection of options. We ate there for some breakfasts and lunches. The Asian seafood restaurant on the beach was very average (service and food). The Italian restaurant was consistent - great appetizers and some mains were better than others. The sea bass was really fishy and to be missed. The best dining by far was at Blaze restaurant on the south end of the beach. Open air dining with an amazing team of staff! Chef Esteban, Vanessa, Hector, Eduardo (and so many others) took such good care of us. The food was spectacular nearly every visit. Reservations required for dinner but it is also open for breakfast and lunch (no reso needed). This restaurant made the trip (as far as food was concerned). Some days we are all 3 meals here. The staff is to be commended for their hard work and hospitality at Blaze!

Incredible trip on so many levels. The property is well designed and each pool has a different vibe. We prefer it quiet so we hung out at the pool by Blaze. The party pool is in the middle and kids on the other side. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em on the towel game. Everyone does it so we just figured we'd find our spot early on, too. That would be impossible to police. The rooms are really comfortable and the windows open even if you don't have a balcony. The elevator in the main building is slow, one is broken so we just took the stairs and worked off a few margaritas, no problem. Speaking of working out, we went to the gym in the morning and had a view of the ocean. Then off to the coffee shop for a latte followed by the buffet for breakfast. I usually avoid buffets but this one was good and we returned. Our favorite drink discovery was a cucumber margarita at Blaze, which is the best restaurant of the four. The servers are so kind - thanks Hector! - and we met Oscar the coati there. The beach is fantastic, we played volleyball one day. The service is what makes this place so special. We were treated like celebrities, everyone was so kind and eager to help. Thank you to Jorge for welcoming us, Jose at the bar and the other Jorge for greeting us and checking in on our stay. And hello to Mr Daniele! This was a trip with my college-aged daughter and the two of us had a really great time. I think it's a good place for couples, families and friends. We will return!
