Fairmont Banff Springs

Very nice tour. We snowshoed along the river bank and through both wooded area and a valley. Harry, our guide, was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable of the region. He provided some interesting history of the hotel and mountains. Great excursion!

Terrific 4 night stay at the Banff Springs with top notch service from start to finish. Had a gatehouse suite which I’d recommend, even though it’s a bit of a walk from the main lobby and restaurants it’s a tad more private. Room was nice and somewhat recently renovated with a spacious washroom that had a double sink. All the staff were fantastic and mid week the hotel was not busy and we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. On resort activities were great - we did a private evening snowshoe walk with Marisa which was fantastic and included a campfire with s’mores and cocktails. Scenery is out of this world There are some service modifications due to COVID (housekeeping once every three days and rotating open restaurants), but the hotel does a great job with cleanliness and service given the situation.

We took advantage of the snowshoeing included in the resort fee today. Our guide was Harry and he did a great job of keeping us trekking but stopping here and there to tell us about the hotel and the woods we were trekking through. Highly recommend it!

Incredible service and attention to detail. Fairmont Banff Springs excels in pleasing and making the most of their guests visit! From the minute you pull up to the hotel until the time you leave, the hotel staff make you feel welcome and served! We highly reccomend! The only thing we'd recommend is a few upgrades in the rooms, eg. the "whistling, creaky" air system that makes quite a lot of noise and gets irritating when trying to sleep.

Due to restrictions my bride to be were forced to cancel and change our wedding plans many times. We finally decided to get married outdoors in Banff and stay at the Royal Suite at the Springs. It's a decision I would make a hundred times over. The hotel went above and beyond in terms of service, quality and care. All the staff were incredibly helpful and gracious. Dinner and breakfast at The Vermilion Room was as great as ever with top quality food and extremely well trained staff. The room was an experience in itself. While being on the top scale of price, you could not put a price on the views and privacy the room provides. If ever anyone gets the chance to splurge on that room, I would always recommend doing so, it's a decision you wouldn't regret. I would like to send a massive thank you and shout out to the entire Fairmont staff for making our experience beyond what we had hoped for and making our wedding weekend one that we will never forget!
