From the moment we check in till we checked out our experience was great! Staffs were amazing and very hospitable, Special mention to Antonio, one of the waiters in Mexican restaurant. He took very good care of us when we had dinner and very attentive to our needs. Also to Calrolina in the Kids Club. My kids were excited to see her during our stay for different kind of activities from making cookies, arts and crafts, movies and pop corn etc. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. Our room has balcony which is nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Towels smells fresh and our bed linens. Bathroom are clean and big space shower. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and great variety of options. They have 24 hours snack bar on the second floor above the lobby. They have 2 bar, one is on the lobby and by the beach, they made good drinks. Aside from the buffet, they have 3 restaurants (1 Mexican, Italian and seafood) that you can make a reservation. Entertainment at night was fun specially the karaoke nights, everyone can participate to sing without judgement just to have fun (tons of fun). All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We went to the fish restaurant, food was great and super service. About that, I think this is a great thing about this hotel, super staff. Stephany yesterday served us perfectly. The ambience was fabulous, food came out quick, and Stephany ask us multiple times if we needed anything.

We loved the service from Iydia - Alma and Stephanie from the Clardoya restaurant at the Occidental Costa Cancun. We were treated like Family and loved the personal attention. She remembered us every time we came into the restaurant and gave us personal service

Although we had a few mishaps with our room, and the lobby service was painfully slow, we didn't mind that it was nearly impossible to get a reservation at one of the restaurants, because our server at the buffet made up for what would have been a much lower rating. Do yourself a favor, please ask for Jose Poot to be your server. He was super attentive and made special drinks to accommodate our preferences. He was happy and upbeat even though we often arrived at almost closing time.

Jose was so friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great food experience!! He even went to get a special dessert and made special drinks for us! Jose made my overall rating go from a 3 to a 4!.....,................................
