    We have had a wonderful stay so far for our anniversary and my husbands birthday trip! The service is impeccable and the resort is very clean and beautiful! Ignacio Vacquez at the Enzo restaurant has been amazing everyday! He is friendly, accommodating and an excellent server and friend! I imagine the rest of our stay will continue to be as incredible as the first half and we will update accordingly. My husband and I highly recommend this resort.

    We pass a week at the hotel its beautiful clean smells good i don't have no complaints i loved it the hotel is big the people that works there are super nice the beach is amazingly beautiful the streets are safe we took the bus to go to the flee market and the mall i really love it. Great hotel great country

    Expected Better for a Paradisus Melia

    We have been to Paradisus Melia before but to the one in Punta Cana. Wanted to try a different location for a change but we feel disappointed of having choose this one: Paradisus Cancun. Compared to Palma Real at Punta Cana this resort is not as good for many different reasons; before I named the bad let me start with the good: Beautiful Hotel, well-kept rooms, clean and maintain during the day. Kids can get unlimited ice cream. The beach is awesome! Very clean and beautiful water. Daybeds next to pool and beach are great! But unfortunately, we feel there are more negatives than positives: Common areas don’t have AC; not even the stores or cafe; the humidity level was awful and to make it worse the Japanese restaurant is right in the middle so you feel like you are being cooked… and we heard it gets worse during the summer. There should be either air conditioned on these areas or a lot of ventilation and fans; but you have none of the 2. We spent 7 days at this place and felt like it falls short in customer service… except some people like our butler (George) and our waiter (Ernesto) & his team at Bana… they went the extra mile to try to make us feel comfortable and happy! Besides them we can’t really say anything about the rest of the staff… too many rules and too many NO’s… we are not used to that in Punta Cana… for example you can’t grab a plate of food from the buffet and take it to the pool daybed but can’t either seat at the buffet (that’s next top the beach and the pool… if you are wet… not dripping just wet!)… The worse besides the heat and service was the food… mediocre at its best… one night we went to Market Grill and asked for Queso Fundido… very disappointed to not be able to enjoy this Mexican dish in Mexico! At the Taco place tacos were not what we expected… visiting with a Mexican friend; she was able to confirm that the food was not what she expected either. Visited Mole one night (The Mexican restaurant) my husband hates goat meat and we asked repeatedly to make sure they did not bring him goat… and he got goat meat; very sad. We ended up going out to eat dinner 2 nights… out of the hotel… and there we had great food! Rosa Negra and Puerto Madero. Highly Recommended! If you are planning on staying at this hotel, I recommend not to get the all-inclusive package, just the hotel and maybe try it for a day before you commit to a longer stay and be disappointed.

    RED FLAGS!!! TERRIBLE FOOD POSIONING

    Stayed at the paradisus for seven days in October. Hotel facilities are pretty nice but on the fourth day of the stay both me and my fiancee both got horrible food posioning from eating at blue agave. I called down to the reception to let them know about the incident and was literally told "god bless you" before the receptionist hung up. Save your money and stay at a RIU!!! Getting sick for half of your vacation is not worth it

    My boyfriend and i just got back from a week vacation and we had a great time! Would highly recommend! The staff is great, Very helpful, super nice they definitely go out of their way to make sure your okay and are having a good time. The one waiter working the pool area was amazing (i believe his name was Jesus or Francisco I’m not sure tho) made sure we had a drink in our hand the whole time! Also the activity guy Agustin was also great, i can’t say anything bad about anyone who worked there. Will definitely be back next year!! The only downside is the main hotel doesn’t have AC so it does get very hot until you get to your room but if you don’t mind the heat then you’ll love this place!
