    Breakfast with Goofy

We had a wonderful buffet breakfast. The food was plentiful, and a wide variety. However: we were there to see Goofy & friends. We had Goofy, Mini Mouse, Chip & Dale, and that was it. Sad really. We expected at least a couple of more characters. For the amount of money spent (over $100 for 2 people) to only have 4 characters show up was disappointing.

This review is strictly for their Afternoon Tea at Steakhouse 55 inside the hotel. I booked this reservation back in July because it's a pretty popular event. September was the earliest they had. I didn't know the theme was The Haunted Mansion's 50th Anniversary, so all the treats were ghoulishly fun! Service was great, typical Disney. 3hr validated parking is included. My daughter had a delightful time. Adults $55, Child $25. It's not cheap so definitely not something I would do often.

    Amazing location for DLR

Was hopeful this would be my first 5 star and it was so so close. The biggest negative was the view. Paid a significant amount for an upgraded Premium Room view and was placed on the 4th floor of the Adventure Tower, right next to the elevator and was staring at the top of the Tiki Bar. Very disappointing for the money spent. The room lacked a bit of the Disney magic I had anticipated. Staff was very polite with the exception of a return at the store on property. I purchased a pair of pants and while they didn't have a changing room confirmed before my purchase that I could return them if they didn't fit and when I went back the next morning and was hassled a bit for why I was returning. Not a great experience. The location is iiiiideal and was thrilled to use the monorail, note it is under construction and closed from 11am - 6pm every day (not clear how long that is lasting). Security line to get to DLR was always fast and the pool was great. The large pool was closed for a bit both days we went but opened shortly after.

I have only positive comments. Hotel is beautiful and very clean, the pool area with the slides are amazing, the staff is beyond professional, service is great, and everything is very well organized. We had a pool view room two queen beds, it was large enough although bathroom a bit small and pillows could be more comfortable. It does not matter much as you will rarely be in your room! Short 8min walk to both park entrance. I highly recommend.

Tired feel but in good location

We were club class and without it my score would have been lower. Our room was a decent size and faced the parks so we were able to watch the fireworks from our room. If we were in another tower or just faced the pool without club class, the hotel would have felt like your average Travelodge but with a pool. Location at the end of Diwntown Disney is great, but it is not as "magical" as the Florida deluxe resorts. For the price you pay I expected more than a good location with a decent pools (with out of order slides!!!)
