Aloha!!This place was chosen by our son for us to stay while we attend our church conference. Our unit had a lot of space for our family to move around in (huge apartment). There were two bathrooms one in the master and the other in the hallway near the second bedroom which really helped when it was time to get ready to go/do something. The front desk staff was really wonderful when we had questions and minor issues. They were quick to fix and find a solution at all times which made our stay much more exciting. Thank you outrigger staff for making our stay great. Definitely will be there again and will recommend to all our friends and families!! P.S great sunset pictures from front desk.

Our family, 3 locals and 2 New Englanders, stayed in the Palms at Wailea # 1405 in early November shortly after a major reno: new tile floors throughout, new kitchen appliances countertop & cabinets, and some new furniture. The view from the lanai was as advertised, beautiful and broad. The facility worked well for our family vacation, four adults and a six-month-old baby. Despite the reno we were disappointed that it only had A/C in the MBR and that the set of louvered doors were still on the second bedroom. We had to keep the lights off and make no noise after 6 pm because of the baby sleeping in his crib with only louvered doors separating him from the kitchen and living room. A small irritant was that the condo had only 3 beach chairs, logically four would be more appropriate for a two bedroom condo. I am marking down my rating of this condo because of the owner, not the condo itself. Surprisingly and disappointingly the owner has been very late with info and was uncommunicative through our stay and afterward. He has not responded to our emails, messages and phone calls. He has retained the $200 refundable damage deposit despite the fact that our $250 cleaning charge should have taken care of the minor complaints he had. He has refused to provide us with documentation of the “damages” and Vrbo has not been helpful either. WORD OF CAUTION: if you book this condo count on losing your “refundable damage deposit”.

Our second stop on our honeymoon was Maui in the Palms at Wailea by Outrigger and again they didn't knew that we are honeymooners. But after we informed them we got a photo album for 8,99 USD (price was still on the backside sticked). Our first condo was really pretty from the inside but directly in front of the pool. We have booked ocean view and really really really far away in a small corner we could imagine the ocean. Unfortunately the condo directly over and the condo directly next to our condo got a full renovation. They told us they will work from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm but they started earlier and finished later and even on Sunday they worked. It was so loud that we needed to switch the condo but all they offered had garden view or needed a plumber so we had to wait 4 days from 8 days stay until we good a nice condo. Not that new but finally ocean view. We had to pay a hilarious cleaning fee and had all this trouble so we are really upsad about this condo. That's why we would never book there again. There are rules at the pool but no one from the service personal nor security was taking care about it. They have been loud and I was hurt by a football in the pool.

Spacious and comfortable. Nicely furnished and well designed. We will return here for our next Maui stay. We were just a short distance from shopping and restaurants, and could easily drive to any place on the island.

This location is about 14 miles ( 20 to 25 mins) from the airport, in a very nice subdivision 1 mile from the main beach. an upscale facility with very well maintained grounds, pool, and reception area. On a sloping hill overlooking a part of the large bay and setting sun as viewed from the Pool area. Up to date furniture, facilities, Feels like and may be individual owners. The interior of our unit was upscale and very clean, with clothes washer and dryer, kitchen, micro etc.very spacious. Only draw back that affected us was the design and layout of the second bedroom. It was designed with four louvered doors that opened up into the family room. It lacked individual quietness due to the louvered doors that could not shut out the noise from the recreation room. Therefore everyone had to shut down to suit the occupant of that room. Same thing in the morning...had to tippy-toe to avoid waking others...frustrating! 10 minute drive to "Foodland" and the central beach area. Could be a "5" star but I like to sleep and not disturb others. I like to be able to make a little noice in the morning cooking breakfast.
