Luxor charges a resort fee, parking and any other fee they can charge. Their slots do not pay and the employees do not seem happy. the property looks outdated and the restaurants do not even show the nfl games, they limit the viewing to one game.

The good; the east tower room we stayed was decent and clean. Check in was easy. The bad; casino very smoky and slow to nil drink service. Food at buffet was terrible, cold and very poor quality. Buffet Restaurant was also very dirty. The food court was limited and very pricey. The pool area is not inviting, like being in a cement parking lot. All poolside chairs are for paid reservations only (nobody was on them yet they didn’t open any up). Location of Luxor is terrible, very far from heart of the strip. Will not stay again even for free rooms.

    Love the Luxor!

the Luxor resort in Las Vegas is so accommodating! The rooms are clean and neat, the casino is very friendly, and we quite often when when were there! The bars are great, and the food choices are good.

Luxor hotel is MASSIVE as are all the hotels in Las Vegas First time visit. What a place. At top of Vegas Strip Check in quick and simple. Room on second floor. Room was quite spacious and set the mood for the holiday. Hotel lobby was so big with the casino and restaurants all within easy reach. Took a couple of days to get around it all. Three pools to pick from. Planning to revisit in 2020 and it will be back to the Luxor Check out on line drop keys in box. Simples Exceeded expectations. Love Las Vegas

    I guess it was ok...

Check in was pain less. We had a pyramid room. The A/C did not work. Our bathroom was dirty. As in it it had not been cleaned, sink was wet, toilet paper was in toilet, towels were on floor. I flagged a housekeeper down and she did do a light cleaning. I notified the front desk and while sympathetic they weren't very concerned. The buffet was decent. Back stage deli sandwiches are delish. I would have like to have had a place to go to just for soups and a salad or something light. It was ok, but the bathroom thing kind of killed the visit. This was our first time in Vegas and we want to make it a regular vacation but I'm not sure if we would stay here again.
