Condo 318 is great
Reviewed by Hedo-goer(East coast) on Apr 04, 2020
We stayed 8 nights in Lae Nani condo 318. This is the ground floor condo closest to the laundry. The condo had 1 bedroom and 2 baths. The bedroom had a king bed. In addition, there is a Murphy bed in the living room. For the bathrooms, one had a tub and shower (and a night light), while the other had a shower only. The living room / dining room was large and had a nice view of the surfers in the nearby bay. The TV does not swivel, and there is no A/C, but there are 2 ceiling fans, and two portable fans. The full kitchen has a breakfast bar / serving bar with 4 bar stools on the dining room side. There were a surprising number of staples in the cupboards. Look before you shop in Kapaa. The lanai has 4 chairs, a table, and a lounge chair. It was nice to be able to walk out through the big glass door. The fenced swimming pool was around the corner. There are detailed instructions for everything, left by the owner. And there is a large supply of books and games in the cupboard. You don't wear shoes inside. The WiFi was good. And the front door has a keypad lock, so you don't have to carry a key around. When we used the laundry, getting soap out of the vending machine was sometimes a problem. But when I banged on the vending machine, trying to get the soap to drop, a man from the office next door, quickly appeared to fix the problem. Our only mild complaint was there were not enough lights in the condo, especially ceiling lights. We enjoyed our stay here, but did not like all the traffic on the main road through Kapaa. And you have to be careful about which side road you use to go out to the main road, if you want to turn left, towards, Lihue. We would stay here again.
Beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely room

This was my ideal picture of what Hawaii would be like! First off, the amazing tropical plant life that lines the pathways, guiding you to your room. The room itself was clean, comfortable and had a lovely beachy feel. Table lamps provide great reading lights, the view from the private balcony was just stunning and the kitchen was so well stocked, we could have cooked epic three course meals every night (we didn't - who goes on holiday to cook?). No maid service, but there were enough towels to last us a week and a self service laundry on sight. We loved the sounds of tropical birds singing us to sleep every night. Not one bit of noise from traffic or the neighbours. Only a 4 star review for two reasons. One: the place you check in is not on sight but a 5min drive down the road. This wouldn't have been an issue if we had known that but it didn't specify this anywhere on the paperwork. Second: no wifi. Had to use my mobile data. However, these are minor things compared to our amazing experience here. Highly recommend and we will be back!!

We stayed at this location recently and enjoyed the views from our lanai. The grounds of the property are well maintained with tropical floral planted everywhere. I booked the 2nd floor looking out of the pool-booked late-and thought we'll make it work. We came in at night and the next morning woke up to a beautiful site. So many palms trees and the ocean much closer than pictured online. Didn't mind the pool at all which was a deep blue. Condo was nice, bed exceptionally comfortable and we had a portable air conditioner in the bedroom. Lae Nani condos are not air conditioned but rely on tradewinds to cool off. It was unsually warmer when we were there so an air conditioner would have been nice for the whole condo. Kitchen had everything you needed. Furniture on sofa and chair were soft and needed a good cleaning or replacement. Dining set had solid chairs. It is a secure location with gate entry secured with codes, parking passes on vehicles. Management is on the property. All condos close to the ocean and there is a protected area for children. In all we enjoyed the location very much and would return to Lae Nani if given the chance.
Best thing is the balcony and the view!!!!

By far the worst room I have ever stayed in. Anywhere!!! Balcony and ocean view are the best parts!!!! Not sure what the other rooms are like, but 324 and 225, are old, tattered, filthy and actually disgusting.
Lae Nani Unit 531 Paradise

We had booked a 1 bedroom unit for our family of 4. Outrigger gave us an upgrade to a 2 bedroom newly renovated unit at the top, oceanside. We appreciated that very much. We can only say it was a dream. Everything was perfect. We had enough space, very clean and it was extremely nicely furnished. The complex is a tropical paradise, perfectly maintained by a friendly team of gardeners. Situated directly on the beach, despite the surf you can swim in the lava pool or next to it, there is lots of sand and lawn and sea to relax and play. There is also a Hawaiian sacred site here. Palm trees, flowers, torches, we loved everything and we prefered to eate always on the balcony. Grocery stores like Foodland or Safeway are nearby, Also Coconut Place with shops and restaurants. We hope to return once again, highly recommended.
