The room was nice. Close up, it looked dirty (looks like spills, coffee rings on the table) but we found that it was just worn. The staff is helpful & friendly. Adrian at the poolside bar in particular. He took great care of us! I was surprised there were no fridge or microwave in the room, but it wasn't a big deal. We had a nice stay

I just went on a girls trip to Mazatlán, Mexico and stayed at the Royal villas Resort. The rooms were very clean, beautiful, and spacious. When we were out of the room, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and pool. The staff was awesome. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We especially loved our waiter Adrian. He’s the BEST!!! I highly recommend staying at this resort. I will be back!!

My family and I took a girls trip to Mazatlan Mexico this past week! The hotel was gorgeous, the staff was extremely friendly, and most of all the hotel/pool waiters and staff were amazing, especially Adrian. Super friendly, accommodating and made our trip fantastic! We felt so welcome there! We would definitely recommend this resort to people and we will be back!

The rooms are very clean, coffee makers, microwaves, small fridges and cooktop, great view from patios, beach access, pool, activities throughout the day, happy hours (2), washing machines on some floors, close to restaurants and a quick walk to a Vineyard Church.

Based on reviews, seems it offers some inclusive options, but didn't have that, so didn't try out too much as wasn't there for vacation. Room was nice. 4th floor, beautiful view. Cleaned daily, even when told service they did not have too. Room had full kitchette. WiFi worked well. Happy hour buy one get one on select drinks, but drinks cost more than other restaurants. (I.e. virgin Pina colada was 80 peso, 40 at off site restaurants, so only worth it at happy hour, but no savings. Pool slide opened our last night there (was previously under repair) Pool area stayed pretty wet, with about inch of water sitting on tiles all the time. Beautiful view of beach, with easy access. Yes, beach band was around nightly, and loud, but didn't disturb everywhere in hotel. Valet staff are awesome, helpful xx and friendly. Other staff is professional. Can do money e change on site. Washer and dryers on site. When had issue in room, it was addressed right away (11pm at night). Lastly, only problem, feels like can hear every door close on the floor, they always slam closed. Not good, when trying to sleep!
